- We adopted our daughter from Guangzhou, Guangdong, China on July 23, 2018. This is our story leading up to the time we first met her and her first year at home. Make sure you watch the entire video to see her whole story.
These adoption stories touch my heart because I have three adopted grandchildren & the stories behind them. God bless you.
Wow. I started to cry as soon as you took her in your arms for the first time because I could feel the love you felt for her in my own heart. And it was so sweet of you to track down the woman who found her just to thank her personally and to let her know that the girl she saved is okay and now has a new loving family. I cannot thank you enough for adopting beautiful little Ainsley and sharing your experience with us!!
Thank you for keeping her given name. I have 5 adopted girls from Asia....2 from China and 3 from Cambodia, all in their 20's now. I kept their names as part of their very long full names and am glad I did. Bless you!
Nancy Busso whoa that’s cool
Bkess you.
this little girl has such a lovley personality it did not take her long to figure out their was lots of love and kindness in her new people so happy smiles were soon on her little face
That awful time at the start when they cry and cry thru fear, it rips my heart to pieces! And then that sweet moment when the first smile appears and the trust starts to build. It’s pure joy to see ❤️. She’s a darling girl and I’m so happy for y’all.

Beautiful. Wish your family the happiest life. X
sweet, sweet, sweet,... cute, cute, cute,... GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
She is adorable and you have a beautiful family. I am truly shocked you got her so quickly - unheard of but possibly because you had already adopted her brother? She is clearly loved and wanted, something that would never have happened to her in China, and you are truly a blessed family. All good wishes to you all.
We had a medical expedite, which we thought would still be several more months. We were very fortunate to get her so quickly.
She's a doll. God bless your family.
Such a beautiful girl! Beautiful family!🙂
I love this video. When we first see her, walking in swinging her arm, you just know she has a booming personality. What a doll.
She is definitely full of personality and sass. 😉

@@GregPullen great, thanks!
I’m new to the adoption culture in China. Do most adopted children from China now a days have some special needs? I’m beginning the education process around adopting and would like to know the reality. Thx u
Why does the introduction have to be so abrupt? Why can't you let the child get used to you more slowly?
Yes, it is definitely a quick introduction. I'm not sure how adoptions work in other countries, but in China the first time you meet the child they are handed to you and the orphanage workers stay for a few minutes to answer questions about temperament or food preferences. We adopted 2 children from China at separate times, and in different provinces. Both times, it was pretty quick. Our 2 children took to my wife and I much faster than other children took to their new parents. It's definitely a very hard situation on everyone. We are thankful for the opportunity to raise these children. They are both doing well now.
