I so enjoyed watching this one! I’ve tried doing finger waves on a few wigs and have failed miserably each time. But I can’t wait to try again now! Thanks so much for sharing all your wisdom with us!
Yeah, you made that initial wave look so easy. I’m always fascinated by vintage hair techniques. The fact that women accomplished such a cute look with just ribbons and pins in the 1920s is amazing.
they didnt use pins and ribbons because they did it on their own hair, can't put pins into the scalp. use pelican clips and place them in the valleys of the waves.
This is a GENIUS technique for finger waves. Never seen this approach before and I want to purchase one of your wigs just to try this style! Thank you!!!
It’s so interesting to hear that you get hair envy from other stylist! Your work is phenomenal and I often get hair envy from your work, this is beautiful and so soothing to watch🥰🥰🥰
My goodness you’ve been so busy providing us all this content lately! Thanks for all the videos ❤️

Another wonderful video. I am slacked jawed at how relatively fast you did it in. An hour?!! That's how long it would take me to get one wave. And it probably wouldn't be a peak. More like a rolling hill. 🤷♂️😂🤣 Just amazing. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🖤🖤👍🏽😃
Love the transformation, I think it works for Jean Harlow as well as Mae West. Now I want some of that hair fiber to reroot vintage flip Twist 'N Turn Barbie dolls. 😀
I love you finger wave technic!!!! I would love to see you do the traditional way that we all learnt in hair school. You know …. With all that gel or setting goop. Hated it but damn the comb and finger technic would help every aspiring hairdresser to pass that damn exam.
@@WigsByVanity omg next time film please please please. I want to know if any one makes the same gross face I make when I’m finger deep in gel. Also I want to see those peaks!!! Great job!
Loved this!! I wish you could do a collaboration with Wilma Fingerdoo...y'all would be GREAT 👍TOGETHER! So funny, so entertaining and so informative. You know your stuff!
Humm...I'm a fan of tight sausage curls (the type you see in the mid to late 1800's to early 1900's...ya the Mary Pickford look). I wonder what wig you can recommend which holds those curls well.
When you said that doing those waves hurt your hand I can so relate to that I was a beauty school teacher at one time and when I would demonstrate the finger waves I could only do it for just so long and then I would have to get someone else to kind of step in because my hand would be killing me
This is NOT easy! But it came out beautifully (only an hour?1?) In fact, it's giving me Susannah York in "They Shoot Horses Don't They?" Job well done!
I am never disappointed when I hear 'welcome back to my channel aaooow!'
You should have millions of subscribers on here!!! So much fun!!!

@@arasharfa there is such a thing as a ribbon set and a pin set for curls and waves.

I just did a wet set one on a human hair wig for Courtney. But I didn’t film it. Shame

Heaven ✨💖
This is quite peaceful to watch before bed
If you don't mind sharing, what hairspray do you use? That is, if you're not giving away your wig secrets!
I remember having to do those in Cosmology school. The gross slime that you had to use. That was almost 50 years ago. It was just Nasty! Lol Good job.

Memories of first year at hairdressing college...!

The George Jefferson of it all . Love it

I wanna be Vanity when I grow up (eventhough I'm 52 😄)

Can you hire me to hold ur camera for these, but also then I get to learn to style wigs from you too!? #dreamjob
Please do watch a Mae west movie or at least a ton of clips. It's part of our herstory.
Meh. I’m more of a Bette Davis girl.
Very Zelda / Zelda Fitzgerald ;)
Your outfit looks like Peter Max
