I think this book of yours is a lot more than just a sketchbook. I'd be willing to bet that if you walked into a nature coffee-table book publisher's office with that book in hand, you could probably get a deal for a mass-produced version. I think I'd change the word "interfere" to "intervene", and change the notes in envelopes, which could easily get misplaced, to some kind of built-in fold-out pages. Everything about it is beautifully done, and your tour of it was fun as well. A lot of thought and care went into this project, and it shows. :)

we do not keep sugar gliders as pets..it would be illegal only registered rehabitilation specialists , zoos, or special education people are allowed. I am shocked that people don't know that these animals are protected.

Lol so I live in Tasmania, and we are! Part of Australia 🇦🇺 and it’s called the island state but we don’t call it Tasmania island it’s just Tasmania or tassie 😂, and if you know the looney tunes the Taz devil who spins around and is brown is based off the one you have in your book. It’s so cute how you pronounced quokka it’s pronounced like cwokka 😉

As an Aussie I'm really impressed. The illustrations are awesome. Koalas are not dumb though lol! My favorite animals are the wombat and quokka. The wombat is so playful and cute! You need to visit Australia.

This is awesome and such a neat idea 😻 I always draw and paint animals in my sketchbooks, but haven‘t really thought of putting any actual information down with the drawings! By the way, I‘m surprised that you didn‘t include a Tasmanian wolf! Also a marsupial, believed to be extinct, but there have been sightings recently, which made me happy! But then, you probably knew that already 😂
Ps: I used to talk a bit too much about flightless birds. Thanks for making me feel less weird 🤣

If you used Winsor and Newton watercolors, then you used the tube paints because the pan paints don’t perform that way at all. I have the student grade and professional grade sets and they don’t perform the same as the tube paints.
