honestly a shopping trip where you dont get anything is great cus you didn't spend a dime yet you get to learn how certain clothes behave on your body and stuff. I'm on the same trend of not buying stuff unless I adore it and honestly feels like such a relief. fun video! (I do miss your asmr thoughhh)
I really do think you're a bright spring. To me you give a similar vibe to a winter, your colors are clean, BRIGHT and your eye color is STRIKING but WARM. At least thats how you appear to me. Also your style is so pretty as always :D I really should also experiment more with my style as well.
thank you for all of your kind comments and feedback! I still grapple with colors and find some of the warmer spring colors too warm and some of the brighter winter colors too cold haha its so hard to find a happy medium. Good luck on your style journey and do experiment!
Have you considered yourself as a bright spring? (You have clarity/brightness in your complexion, but also some slight warmth) I find that bright springs can get away with silver even though they are considered “warm” in tone. Given that I think you are a bright spring, it would explain some of your affinity to some “winter” colours. You can technically borrow some colours from seasons that are next to you like bright winter (different than deep winter) (see the 12 seasons palettes). I recommend referencing the concept wardrobes breakdowns of the 12 seasons.
This is insightful and helpful so thank you! I actually started to lean more bright spring after this try on experience because some of the winter colors didn’t seem to work. I’m going to take a peek at the channel you recommended now. Thanks for your comment :)
Also a sn winter here with similar philosophies around minimalism! Adore your content! I also think you have a classic essence. There’s a timeless quality to you!
hey! love to see the videos of you trying things and sharing your process :) Would you ever consider getting colour analysis done and filming the process? That would be fun to watch and probably really help you on your journey! Maybe you could even ask another UA-camr who does colour analysis to collaborate with you!
We have super similar coloring and I got analyzed by Carol Brailey as a true summer not too long ago! You should try some tops in the true summer palette, I think you’d really pop beautifully in like a soft sage or denim blue 💖😀 SUCH a game changer knowing for sure what my colors are after obsessing for MONTHS about colors. It’s so fun 💕 good luck finding yours!!
Love the style of the red top, but I think the color is too warm for you. The tops of the sn blouses look good. I think the purple/pink shift dress material is too stiff for an sn. I’m a lot older, but I’m almost certain I’m a short (5’1”) sn because the lines work the best with my body shape (top curve and broad shoulders)😊
You were GLOWING in that red blouse VS the darker first few and your intro outfit. I think you should definitely branch into some brighter colours. I'm the same way too but I also have a hard time trying to find my colour palette. I know I look good in colours like a burnt or mustard yellow like the sweater in my pfp on the left but I have ashier hair and eyes. Would love to see more videos like this in the future!
thank you for your kind comment! Im definitely still struggling with colors but I agree that certain bright ones suit me better. its so interesting that youre ashier but suit warm tones, my natural hair is also ashy and I suit certain reds. Its all very confusing haha but will definitely do more try ons!
I think that warm red is gorgeous on you! I remember you trying on a red wrap dress in one of your past videos that suited you as well. Was that also a warmer red? If you suspect you lean warmer than how you appear on camera, I feel like spring could absolutely be a possibility for you. I think I might be a natural as well, so I always enjoy watching your try-ons. It’s really helpful to see what works for you, and what could potentially work for me too!
Thank you for the feedback on the warm red. I really think bright spring is where I’m leaning (especially after this try-on) Am so happy to hear the videos help :)
The green colored dress looked good on you even though the fit wasn’t there. Have you considered adding a slim, loose fitting belt on a piece that needs more waist definition? Congrats for not buying clothes you don’t absolutely love. ❤
The necklines of the blouses are probably why you didn't care for #2 and #3. High necklines aren't really the best for soft naturals. A round neck, jewel neck, a v neck a soft draped cowl ,just something more "open" works so much better.
@@welltrying Unfortunatly same country but different province. We dont own this store. Im soft natural as well/soft summer and natural / classic essence. It took me 3 years to figure out so dont give up!
There are different types of Winter. Your bright blue eyes could be a sign of a high contrast Winter. I found you Look best also in the high contrast Combinations. Red and Black. The coulor of the green dress. All signs that you are a high contrast Winter. A spring or summer never looks good in Red and Black. Good Look finding your type.
I'm still not convinced, that You are SN. But I didn't saw Your full body shape clearly. You are soft, thats sure. I think Your first essence is surely classic, than youthfull. (Old Kibbe system was a mix of body type plus essence. Today he differenciates between them.) To say whats is Your color type thrue the monitor is imposible. (Not just Your camera changes colors, but every ones screen too.) I can just say: black is too much for You and bright warm red also. Your eyes on my screen are bright, but other wise You need little bit softer colors (not to much muted). I'm not a big help, I know. The best will be to go to some body and color type specialist personaly. But some times this is a fun game for us all. It just cost money...😊

I totally agree! I believe you are bright spring, too.. I also want to mention that I think warm blonde hair will be stunning on you!
Glad it could be of some use! The concept wardrobe is a website - I’m not sure if they have a UA-cam channel 😊
The teddy jacket looked great on you! Sad that it was forever21

you are a gamine darling. you come alive in gamine lines
how we know that a pattern is to busy for us? who can wear busy patterns?

Where are you from? And what is the Thrift store name?
They seem to have great clothes!
Thanks :)
I’m from Toronto! This store is called Common Sort, it’s very well curated and I usually always find great things :)
