1st Chick Fledges on River Osprey Cam | 7.15.23

Our 1st chick on the River Osprey Cam fledged! The chick - we think it might be a female due to her size - left the nest around 10:32 this morning and flew over to the cam pole along the Wildlife Drive. She looked nervous about returning and hung out there for almost 3 hours. Even when the male brought a fish to the nest, she did not return. Then around 1:11, she got up the courage to return. The landing was a little shaky, but that's a skill the chicks will improve over time
