She was got INVITATION to be dream academy's trainee not become members of katseye.
If hannah accepted INVITATION become DREAM ACADEMY's trainee, She had trained for 2 years become part of 22 participants of DREAM ACADEMY survival
After 22 participants of dream academy trained they have to fight & compete became 6 members of katseye
She got an invitation to be one of the trainees that would compete in dream academy to form KATSEYE, not exactly to be a part of KATSEYE.
She already had a spot! The competition is just to fool us!

Samara making it in KATSEYE would have gotten more fans for KATSEYE than Hannah anyway.
Brazil love female popstars. Be it Madonna, Taylor Swift or any other pop star.
For one of their own they would've started streaming farms lol. Brazil is one of the biggest music markets, they have artists who make it into the BB hot 100 without even singing in English with millions & billions of streams. Every new KATSEYE song would've debuted with atleast a #10 placement on BB hot 100 with her in the group just because of the Brazilian stans.
Samara also had very good vocals, she outsings Hannah anyday. Samara making it in would've been more beneficial for KATSEYE than Hannah.
Also Hannah would have to compete with other Korean participants namely Nayoung (better singer than her), Yoonchae (better dancer than her).
So a reserved spot for her doesn't even make sense.
Hannah also doesn't have anything over the top on the members of KATSEYE to be getting a spot.
Sophia & Lara would eat her up in vocals, Daniela and Megan in dance.
Manon, Yoonchae, Daniela have better visuals than her.
All of KATSEYE's girl beats her by a margin in stage presence.
The only thing she would've had over them is Popularity because of her UA-cam presence.

She's gonna be part of the show and she has to pass up to the final line up. Does not necessarily mean she's gonna be in Katseye. I'm not questioning her ability but there was so many talented girls in that show. Even if we start in Sophia and Lara's ability.. clearly the company was looking for talented girls and their factor effect
Hannah makes good music I have heard it and it's way more better for her to be a solo artist that produces her own songs cause she has that area of talent.

then you are foolish to think that , basically these shows are performative , everything is done beforehand rest they weight the popularity and finalise their already made lineup (with maybe changes of one or two contestants)

They have chosen the best lineup so far based on top skills and voting, so your thoughts only apply to rigged shows like 'Are You Next,' not Dream Academy. Chill. As for her, she just got a chance to participate in DA with 20 other girls who were selected, not for Katseye.

They did this with a lot of the contestants because they were trying to recruit diverse popular pretty girls from around the world and wanted to make it seem like they had a legit chance of making it so they would join. That’s why a lot of the girls were really sad and some mad when they got eliminated, they were tricked into thinking they would be more favored

First things first: that group WOULD IN FACT throw a shadow over hanna's talents which was the point I was trying to make.
Second: The whole concept is kpop like, they are part of the industry and are signed under hybe. Just because they don't sing in korean - just like a lot of korean groups sing in English too - it doesn't mean they're set apart of the industry. Everything about them is as kpop-y as it gets. @@rockandspace

As a solid Supporter of Dream Academy since ep 1 till finale, this girl wouldn't have been able to join the top 15 , I'm not a hater but she hasn't this kind of presence of making it all the way. Imo Hannah made the best decision by following her gut. If you think about it, risking 2 years for training and we're never 100% sure we're gonna be in the group is a big opportunity cost. The opportunity she took was a legit offer that led her to build her own company. And nothing can take that away from her. So hands down it's the best decision. 🎉 Happy for Hannah ❤🙏😊
