Aysha Suleman there may be others. I've followed Lilly for at least 3 years. I can honestly say she is a bright shining star that has a gift to uplift others. Lilly, the only reason why it's always dark in the house is because all the walls in the rooms are dark. If they were all lighter colours, then you'd really see the transformation.

Lilly, you made my day. I had a crazy day. Got a flu shot, and then I was walking out of the store, and then I couldn't see anything all of a sudden, and I collapsed. I had jerky movements, and the doctor said it could even be my first seizure. Really scared, but this vlog is pulling me through.

Karen it wouldn't but by cutting it smaller she may have been able to avoid pulling it out a little longer till it dropped off or a quick snip may have made it quicker and less painful rather than having to try and pull it off twice, at least that's what I know from experience, I just didn't want more pain than needed T.T
I love Iced caps! Even though i'm kind of allergic to them lol whenever I drink them my throat gets a little scratchy but WORTH IT.

The nail thing has happened to me, and I can confirm that it really hurts. If it was to happen again though, it is much easier and less painful if you slowly twist it off. I did I it, and it worked.
Also... I'm in America and had no idea about that hacker situation. Maybe it's just cuz I wasn't really on my phone much yesterday haha.

Lilly, when my broken nail was attached by that one piece I twisted it until it broke off. It didn't hurt as much as ripping it off probably would have. I'm a wuss when it comes to pain so no way would I have just ripped it like you did.

I was very much able to tolerate the sight of your finger nail issue, Lilly. I had a similar issue a few weeks ago with my thumb nail that was so bad I needed a hospital visit for it. So, I guess the sight of mine prepared me for yours. Your reaction to the pain was too funny though, haha. What you spoke about in regards to being grateful, I definitely agree. Too many of us get caught in moments where we sometimes take that for granted and we rarely stop to think "it could be worse." And I always admire seeing the bond in your friendships; in this case with Amir and Chase. What Chase did for your late birthday celebration was really cool though, especially that escape house, that looks mad fun. I'm glad to see you had such a great day, Lilly. Try to stay warm with that cold weather kicking in for these last couple of days before you head back to Cali, haha. I love you, Lilly.

You know, I do understand and I agree with to a certain extent, the philosophy of being grateful for what you have. It's true. Don't get me wrong, but I also think that instead about "lowering our standards" because "other people have it worse". We should instead aim for everyone to have the same level of 'complaint'. It's in human nature to constantly be ambitious, I think there is something to be said for a fine line between complaining with ambition at its core, and complaining with ungratefulness at its core. Just because some person in a Third World country doesn't have water, doesn't mean that someone in the United States shouldn't also want to have enough money for, for example, good clothing. It's all relative, and it's all valid. There is relativity in our world, but there is a power and being unsatisfied what you have. There's a fine line to be drawn between the ambition that we have that manifests itself as complaints, and the mindless standards that manifest themselves as complaints. There are people that make great things of themselves because they were unsatisfied with what they had, and even though we in a certain position would think that they had less than we. They might also be in a position where they had a lot more than others, but what would've happened if they'd only embrace the idea of being "grateful" not been to an extent unsatisfied with just what they had. So I don't think that you, Lilly, need to think every day that you can't complain about everything just because there's people in Kenya they don't have water. I mean you should be grateful, but you should also accept that maybe this is one thing that you're not satisfied with and so you're going to change it. There's power in that too.
