i always thought this song was extremely popular because i always heard it on the radio as a kid and still continue to hear it
They're Canadian Popular. Canadian Popular is its own thing, much like "famous in the UK" doesn't mean anything to anyone outside of the UK.
Basically, Marianas Trench is Tim Hortons and Fall Out Boy would be Starbucks. Although that's kind of a crap comparison because Starbucks is bs (stupid names, complicating things for no reason, charge more and we do most of the work) and FOB rocks. But FOB is known everywhere, like Starbucks (and probably also costs a buttload to hire) whereas Tim Hortons barely has a presence outside of Canada (and is much more affordable. Guaranteed, Marianas Trench would be more affordable to hire for an event than FOB and everyone would still have a great time)
As much as I love MT's new stuff, THIS is the MT I grew up on. If they went back to this Fix Me/Masterpiece Theatre style for just one more album I could die happy.

Disagree, I went to their concert at the stampede a few days ago and it was the most crowded show there this year
*outside of Canada. There, I fixed it for you, and agree. They have almost no US presence outside of some online radio channels, and they deserve LOTS.
@@gunslingergirl2579 i live in the US and yea no one knows about them. I kinda love that though because no one ruins it for me and its not overplayed on the radio that i hate it. I cant stand American pop music because we beat it like a dead horse until no one wants to hear it anymore
