Im 4 . My Opinions Are Backwards..
It's a total gem of a park for people who appreciate wooden roller coasters. The setting even feels a bit magical. That said, I'm just not into wooden coasters that require defensive riding. And I made the mistake of visiting right after Cedar Point and King's Island. The Voyage is definitely just that, a Voyage. It's impressive, but can't say that I enjoy it. Much prefer Mystic Timbers. Honestly, if I had to choose a mini park in the area to visit, I think Lightning Run and Storm Chaser at Kentucky Kingdom were better than Holiday World's five, but Holiday World was probably the cleanest, friendliest, and cutest park I've ever been to, so it has that going for it as well. It's worth a visit if you like Wooden Coasters.
Raven is the most overrated coaster I’ve ever been on.
It’s short, it’s first half is forceless, and nothing besides it’s setting is remarkable.
I just can’t comprehend people saying it is better than the best B&M wing coaster or better than one of the best CCI.
I've only been on 2 B&M Wing Coasters; I'd take Gatekeeper over Thunderbird any day.
So glad you decided to get tickets for the best event ever! I'll see you at HN!
For context, Voyage was my #3 out of 260 or so before my trimless night rides of 2022 when the damn thing was clocking in at 13 entire seconds faster than normal. Those rides sealed the deal - it became my new #1/322 as well as the new #1 for a bunch of other people. If it's already in your top five, then one or two of those other coasters are about to be dethroned, if not all of them!
Super jealous; I've never ridden it but it looks like my kind of coaster, so I hope it dethrones all coasters.
I went to three parks in the states in 2022, Cedar Point, Kings Island and Holiday World (would have possibly gone to Kentucky Kingdom and Dollywood, but ended up not doing that). Holiday World was awesome, 2.5h drive from my bf's place, which is the closest park. I spend a massive amount of time in their waterpark which was also amazing. Sadly I didnt get to do Raven so hopefully I'll be able to come back someday. I don't get the opportunity to go to the States that often.
first
If CoasterDash visited every single amusement park in the world, this is what I think will be in his top 5(not in order):
Cedar Point
Disneyland
Phantasialand
Tokyo Disney Sea
Universal's Islands of Adventure
Voyage is one I really want to ride (and might get on soon)
Voyage is incredible, but don’t underestimate the others!
I guess I’ll see you at Holliwood Nights!
Awesome, see you there!
Maybe it was the heat, but voyage made my head hurt.
Just went today for the first time! My ranking:
1. Voyage
2. Thunderbird
3. Legend
4. Raven
5. Good Gravy
6. Howler
My ranking is 1. Voyage 2. Thunderbird 3. Legend 4. Raven
You should head up to Indiana beach since you're going to Holiwood nights. Do Indiana Beach the day before
That’s exactly the plan!
@@CoasterDash perfect! I'll be excited to see the Holiwood nights and Indiana Beach vlog!
I have thunderbird at 1. Should tell a lot lol
See you at Holiwood Nights!
My wife asked me the other night if I could be anywhere where would it be. I said front seat of the voyage my bucket list coaster
Voyage supremacy 😆
Good list! My ranking is the same except I have Raven at 2 and Legend at 3 but in my overall rankings they are right next to each other and it took a late day Raven ride to beat Legend. The drops on Raven especially the 4th one are just magical to me.
I’m doing Holiwood Nights as well so I’m definitely excited to get night rides on all 3 woodies. Should be insane.
legend slappppps so hard, super underrated coaster, the sharps drops and lats are world class.
unbelievable ride
Fr it drags me every second it's so fun
The Voyage without a doubt is my number one bucketlist wooden roller coaster! I could see it dethroning El Toro for my #1 woodie
El Toro was so rough when I finally rode it May/June that I prefer Ghostrider and The Cyclone at Coney Island to El Toro and I think I'd prefer The Voyage since it's a very long ride with the most airtime on a wooden coaster; the world's longest with one lift hill.
Ride the Voyage in the front car and it will feel like silk. You don't know you are on a wooden coaster.
Okkkk I admit…I be dancing to the new intro now 😅😅
Now you’ve got to go back and rate Good Gravy
The beast is my favorite wooden coaster
use to work there and rode the voyager like 6 times in a row once.
TOP 5? HOLIDAY WORLD ONlY HAS 5!
I hope to go to holiday world one day
It’s a must visit park in America
@@CoasterDash crazy thing about is that I live in Indianapolis which is 2-3 hours away😭😭
@@Nxkamxbxms I live in fort wayne which is 5 hours ago and ive been there
@@CoasterDash I live in Evansville which is 50 minutes away
The few wooden coasters I've ridden beat the hell out of me and hurt my back. Should I break my rule and try the ones at Holiday World?
I’d give it a go. This year would be a great year to try Voyage in particular, as a great extent of the layout was retracked in the off season.

Thanks!
Great video! Sounds like you already need to re-do your top 50 coasters in the world videos someday.
No kidding, the list changes SO fast!
@@CoasterDash definitely true!
I would love to go to this park one day... I wish for a Mack Powersplash were Pilgrims Plunge was and Mammoth to receive ice cave theming that can make Volcano Bay run for its money.
I am going to this park for the first time this summer and I am so excited as I've been wanting to come here for nearly 14 years now. I just wish they had a replacement for Pilgrims Plunge by now. Maybe they will in 2024.
See you've finally made it to the Midwest! Voyage is my number 3, just behind I305 and Steel Vengeance
I've never been there but I'd say it has THE BEST little roller coaster collection in the world; at least outside Europe and Asia. Where else is there a park with for (or even five) coasters or less with a better coaster collection? Great video, thanks for posting!
Holiday World Coasters are a work of art. I view these coasters as rich golf players view the #14 at Agusta or the #17 at Oakland (I don't know about actual golf holes, but using it as an example btw.)
These coasters are beauties. I'd love them to have a Final 4 Basketball holoday section (and to me, it is a holiday in the state) to honor Larry Bird, Bob Knight, and Reggie Miller.
This video was awesome thank you I went there to day it was awesome I went on all of them
Even though this video says howler sucks and yeah it looks that way it scared the shit out of me when I was 5 and my family pictures of me on it with ky dad has me crying and him smiling 💀
