This was practiced and perfected, folks. You can tell she wanted to get it just right, and she did. In addition to some mega hits with Sugarland, she has a knack for covering songs (similar to Kelly Clarkson). Check out "Celebrate Me Home" and "Red Dirt Road".
To me this song is both simple and profound.
