Thanks a bunch for the upload man. I have a couple of fan palms here in my garden in south Australia. I used this method and they came up looking beautiful. Greatly appreciated 👍
Man Benitez, you guys are awesome, that's some hard work that you make look easy but it's not. I hope you charge what you're worth because that's time consuming tedious and very messy work. After you're done with the blade work, next comes the pick up and clean up of all that junk!! Two big thumbs up to you guys and thanks for showing us how it's done!!
Just watching from scotland as a guy in LA just got killed up a palm tree and was stuck for hours, fd had to spend hours trying to get him down but he died.
We have only one Palm tree and it grew tall. I was wondering how the Palm trees were trimmed, as I never saw this done. I thought a machine did the cleaning? Thanks for informing us how it is done. Now to get my son to work! Scary about the scorpions and spiders, thanks for the warning!
How much does something like this cost to do per tree. You charge hourly rate or you charge by tree. How long does it take you to do one tree 3’. This is cool I always wondered why those palms looked like this at the bottom sections.
@@WildlifeWarrior-cr1kk thank you. I live in Bonaire, island off the coast of venezuela and the palm shaving is getting more popular over here and we have these same palms. I can do the work but no idea on pricing. So thank you so much for the info bro🙏
Does this method of skinning apply across different palm tree species? For instance, where I live, I have Sabal Palmettos and the boot splits at the base. I want to skin mine bc I think they look more presentable but I don't want to damage them.
Great tutorial video! Just what I needed to see. Thank you very much for sharing your technique!👍
I been learning how to trim and skin palm trees for the past 3 months and your vids are the best. Keep up the great work bro
Thank you 🌴 climb safe out there

I recommend tarps underneath your working area, it helps with the clean up.

Thank for the video. Just wondered why this process is necessary? Might it help fix a dying palm tree?

Can you skin it all the way to the top? Or why just 3ft?
I am doing some but its my first time
You can skin as high as you want.
In this case. The client wanted to do 3ft every season
My question to.
My question also. Why 3ft because you charge by the foot and client wanted to manage that cost?
Is this considered a hobby started skinning mine and I feel relaxed and and enjoy it
Very helpful! Tyvm!

GREAT JOB BROTHA"
What time of year should I do this?
How tall/old should a tree grow before I do this?
I’d do this before spring/summer. Make sure the palms are at least 5ft + or taller
How much do you charge to do the skinning part

I charge by the ft
Depending on which palms
Why only 3’ a year? If my palm is about 10’ to the green up top can I skin more than 3’ up at once?
In this case, the client wanted me to go 3’ a year. It gets costly by the foot, or to skin a whole palm.
What do you charge for skinning palms bro. Going small medium large
He probably charges twenty two twenty five per foot
