Yeah it was a really nice evening. It was a wet walk in the morning, but still really enjoyable. There was a mud slope that we had to walk down, and we both inevitably slipped over multiple times. Shame I'd stopped filming, as I was laughing so hard I couldn't even stand up again 😂 Thanks for watching! James.
@@joinmeoutdoors Hi James going to probably go with the exos 58 light and bigger for winter. Thank you for your footprint idea. I have the helm 1 compact. And about 5 min ago I have attached it to the tent. I found some very small carabiners that did the trick 👍👏
Good stuff. Just perhaps be careful that the karabiners don't open themselves and damage your tent - probably only an issue if you compress your tent in a dry bag/stuff sack 🙂 I've actually bought some cheap little plastic toggles that I'm going to attach to mine - video to come! James.

I've got a 3 day uni-packing trip coming up and it's gonna be the same weather, hovering near freezing and rainy. I'm honestly more excited for winter camping, the snow is cold but it's as least dru
I'm going to have to hold my hand up and say that I didn't know what a uni-packing trip is. Is this a thing?! Going on actual rides/adventures and bikepacking on a unicycle?? If so, you're an absolute madman, and an impressive one at that! Fair play to you! I don't even know where to begin with the questions! Is it on road? How far each day? This has blown my mind 😂👏👏👏
@@joinmeoutdoors yeah it's on a 29" unicycle. This trip will be 100km-60km--60km. First multi day trip on my Unicycle and first century but I'm looking forward to it this weekend. It's my last 3 day weekend in the year, and last before winter
@@granthw4993 This is amazing! 100 km is a decent run out on a normal road bike - I can't even imagine how much more challenging that would be on a unicycle. Fair play to you. Will you be filming or documenting it anywhere? UA-cam/Instagram? I'd love to know how it all goes 👍
