  • Students at USC said they expect to see more fallout on and off campus after two Stanford students claimed their degrees were devalued by the alleged scheme that wealthy parents bribed school officials, faked athletic profiles and cheated on tests in order to gain admission to elite colleges for their children.

I live in South LA and I’ve tried my best to be the best student these past 4 years. 7 AP classes, decent SAT score(1280), and 3.8 GPA (UW). I’ve taken over 10 college classes and have done a decent amount of extracurricular activities. As I am waiting for decisions to come out I can’t help but feel worried that something like this may effect where I get in. USC is known as the University of Spoiled Children and seeing it all unravel is unfortunate because it has been my dream school since I was 14.

Update: I GOT ACCEPTED TO USC!
I’m so happy to know that all of my efforts throughout the past 4-5 years have been acknowledged! Proud and grateful for the opportunity

@@whatevergina9401 it’s not terrible but not great. It was definitely above average for the 2019 SAT. Pretty sure USC didn’t look at just my score though. Clearly they saw I was beyond capable by passing most of my AP exams and passing all of my CC courses while in high school.

This explains why the students coming out can hardly tie their shoes and can't find America on a map but have degrees.

How do we know if those who are interviewed were now let in unethically too?? I know many rich foreigners are able to get in California colleges. When will that be investigated??

Think about being in prison while singing the theme song...
    Whatever happened to predictability.
The milkman, the paperboy, evening tv?
How did I get to living here?
    Somebody tell me please!
    This old world's confusing me.
With clouds as mean as you've ever seen
Ain't a bird who knows your tune.
Then a little voice inside you Whispers,
Kid don't sell your dreams, so soon
Everywhere you look, everywhere you go
    There's a heart (There's a heart), a hand to hold onto.
Everywhere you look, everywhere you go
There's a place, of Somebody who needs you
    Everywhere you look.
When you're lost out there and you're all alone,
A light is waiting to carry you home.
    Everywhere you look.
    Everywhere you look.

Wealth & poor grades are more likely to get you into a great college than someone who is actually poor & made excellent grades through out there whole school years. It's all about the money💰💵💰💵💰💵💰💵💰💵🤴👸👨‍🎓👩‍🎓🤑

If you really smart you go to MIT and Harvard. USC lost credibility when they accepted Kim Kardashian.
