He was 21 years older than her. He was her mentor, lover, and (perhaps) a strict father figure. Her father was also very strict with her growing up. They say women marry men who subconsciously (or consciously) remind them of their fathers. I will remember them both as bringing joy to me and their public with their music, no matter their private lives behind closed doors.
