Bill , from Portland Oregon,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, love your videos. wish we had some of the great gold you have there. Australian is known for great gold. Keep up the great work. Loved the video of you and your two boys.
Speaking of gold...I saw a tiny rock islet covered with Guana, the famous fertilizer. VERY valuable.!!
Tanks-a-lot Levi from El Dorado County Northern Cali. We have been burning with fire and smothered and smoked all summer I barely washed-out 5 Pans in the local Creek
Watched it again anyhow buddy, it's bloody awesome. I was planning on doing some sniping this summer but most of the rivers have stopped flowing already.
Another cracking day out in TAS... thanks for sharing mate. Youve made me want to give sniping a crack myself. Great work mate. Stay safe.
Good Luck & Happy Sniping
I watched it the 1st time on the beer , it was even better sober , great gold levi.

Just like where I live in Kentucky, up and down a mountain 🏔 lol good exercise...
No need to apologise. You vids are very inspiring !!!
It's a beautiful stretch of river, and kind of peaceful, too. You did well with your sniping and one day you're gonna get that big one! Tasmania I'm going to visit one day, that's for sure. ☺️
Yes last piece a beautiful one. 👧
Tassie boysssss 👏🤟
Always winning 🔥
Definitely not having your driver slowed your progress. You have come a long way since when you first started out. I have seen a considerable improvement. Keep up the good work. Also that descent looked pretty sketchy watch yourself out there. I love the beauty around you, you're a lucky man.
I think that you no what your doing keep using your intuition cos it's spot on....
Dang what a hike to where the Shiny is...
Another god one, didn't look a 5 meter drop to the river on the video. Shout out from Oslo Norway
Michael Airley camera never does justice you get a bit of an idea when I throw the tool down to the river
Carry an extension tube for your snuffer bottle so you can reach the deep gold in crevices. Good luck from the USA. Love your program.
I think your on the right thought about recent, here where I live when we have a gully washer(flash flood) i find all kinds of new stuff , New Mexico USA
Excellent work mate
Absolutely beautiful place

Wow Levi that was some beautiful gold
Good for those times when your lunch can break your fall. Lol 😆
That lighting nugget would be cool as a pendant
Sweet mate nice
Muito bom. Lindo esse lugar.
Great video mate love the content! Have you considered using a Go Pro strapped to your head instead of trying to juggle the camera, gold, crayfish and equipment? If you're ever around Sydney you should see Picton Mine or Robertson Waterfall, Wollongong beach,Cronulla Beach and Bondi beach is great for metal detecting, keep up the awesome work and Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!
Papa Shango awesome mate thanks yes I’ve been thinking of giving the head mount a go and it’s on the cards a bit of beach detecting I love the stuff they find up there looks fun
Gday Levi. If this creek is anywhere near the 2016 fires perhaps it’s washed dow from there just my thoughts. You’ve inspired me to go and try my hand at sniping a couple of creeks I know of🙂
Very engaging Adventure - but isn't it amazing when you look back to January - so full of Hope & Optimism for a better year than the previous, and who could have predicted this debacle? And the poor folk with the bushfires & droughts to have 2020 on top of it all... Socker - just hope some people somewhere are doing it better - somehow. We are very thankful to be in Tassie, that's for sure - hope all goes well with you & yours... Thanks for the Adventures. 🤿👍⛏🐾🦘😎
Looked like I have seen this before Levi, lol. I enjoyed watching it the second time also !!!!
Pinger Prospecting thanks mate sorry for the muck around new content coming as soon as I get over this Nemonia and middle ear infection 😖 if I get over it
Man, I hate ear infections. I never had them till I started diving. Get well soon !!!!
Oh man sorry to hear you aren't well! Hope you are better soon! Ear infections are about as bad as a toothache. I've been trying to defeat a double ear infection for over a week.
UK prospector always watch videos online to feed the gold fever really impressed with your videos well made I'm going to buy a wetsuit try sniping in Wanlockhead Scotland keep going buddy
So wat kind of snakes r u afraid of levi. Great vid nice gold.
Nice bro..good day from Philippines.
Gold is always found in the most inconvenient of places!
Get them nuggets Levi, big or small it's all GOLD.
New subscriber... Crake, as in "Oryx & Crake"?
Dude...you need to watch Jeff William's video of a river diorama...it shows how gold acts in different river currents and how it acts around boulders and such. It is a PRICELESS VIDEO!!! I will help you I am sure of it. However, love your vids dude!!
Yes I have watched that one it’s so cool and great edu.
You saved my life mate
Snakes. Thsts where i and bert bannister come in handy. Relocation.
You could use surgical ratchet tweezers, just an idea!
I’ve seen them for sales in Sunday markets.
Sucesso!
Hahaha gostei da camisa chadres
Like this guy also . So him n Pauly Pioneer is it.
Fantastic. The Call of the Wild. exciting video. I like that lightning bolt piece of gold. Build a terrarium with poison snakes and recreate a small Creek and put all your gold in there as an Recreation of the Bush Creek.. thanks for that at the end of the weigh-in because here in Northern California they shut down the National Park during covid. And then the fires blew up and I spend 250 days cutting brush with a respirator on with no fun and no prospecting but your videos helped get me through and I thank you for that Levi rip to your brother
Your breaking youtube. But what can i say great video buddy best wishes in 2020
Sniping bud . More interesting by far
Best of luck
מקסים...........
💙🤟
Ahhhman, I'm trying to make a sediment filter for our tank and this comes on.
Oh wait,,, is this a re-upload?
Gold Whisperer Prospecting yes my son deleted it by accident I feel like it’s important to the story line of my channel and I know a few would have missed sorry for the muck up mate
That one piece looked like a hairdyer
Great minds think the same, 😉
Levi, carry a snake bite kit,a small arm, and a humongus fun dog! I would. Would a police whistle scare away predators, including mankind with bad intentions? Is your home safe when you are out working? Wish I was still young enough to travel Tasmania would be #1 on my list! Get that BIG nugget! Would a simple rope ladder help on those small verticals?
Big pieces have to be the first to show up, going upstream
Why not carry about 250mm of clear PVC tube that will fit on your snuffer bottle in cases where the crevice is to narrow to fit the snuffer. Even if the piece of gold wont go up the pipe, with a good squeeze the suction should hold it long enough to recover.
Levi did you ever consider that when you weren't finding any gold that you were above the outcropping that is in the creek that is producing the gold.
Any placer mine or hard rock mines on these rivers ?????gold comes from somewhere
Say there Levi,
Ths 4 taking me along on this adventure. Was thinking about where it is u have come across the gold u have been finding. It seems 2 have started at the one area, then went on from t r ere. Could there possibly be a inlet up the side of canyon that is covered by brush or boulders that could feed the creek with gold from above. Not being there I'm just guessing. Best 2 u. Be safe my friend. Oh by the way, water there is clean to drink I see. Here in N. Calif we in past 40 years ago we used 2 b able to drink it that way, but now we've got giardia and all kinds of things that make a trip 2 the hills very uncomfortable. Anyways, good day 2 ya. Troy
Hi Troy firstly cheers, the gold in this area is glacial so I’m not sure it sheds and gets into rivers like it does from eroding reefs however there must be something that makes it richer in some areas than in other from experience it seems to be the larger the surrounding hills 🤔 yes the water here is pretty good I still try and take in water in most cases as I think we are still at risk of it here also 👍🏼
Awesome mate. Are you a millionaire Rodney?
2.2 gram nice nugget....
bitten by snakes you say, oh my.
@@officialtassieboysprospecting from the size of those fern, oh shit snakes !!!
Are there scary animals there? In Montana we have bears and mountain lions. Could be very dangerous.
Well it really is nugget or nothin territory cool river though
Nice try Buddy. I love the bush footage nice, good photography. you don't find a 2.2 gram picker then have to move 500 k's downstream before you find more gold. I am a gold dredger from the 1980"s and know my stuff and how a gold bearing river is. To me the gold you find may be planted to get your ratings up. Also you have a helper someone else on the cam not possible on your own . Also you dont leave a spot you find 24 grams in a couple days. Remember when your on the gold you dig it all. When your on a good thing stick to it. Nice to watch thou given an old dredger a few tips on packing goods to my next spot
The river water has god knows what germs etc how can you drink it without getting sick
Are you sure her is No overlap between you and Rob Parsons? that would explain a lack of Gold.
the gold is coming from UPHILL (down) to the river. NOT from upstream to down stream
So what kind of snakes are you wanting to Dodge walking through that little bit of brush??? Are they Poison snakes or What??
Just for informational purposes, you can cut the risk of snake bites by NEVER stepping straight over a log or rock.Step ONTO the log or rock ,Then AWAY from it.Good hiking guys.
A pleasure to see it again, there are not many other places in the world I can imagine living outside of Oregon, Tasmania is one of them. Stunning country!
