RULES:
The object of the game is to have the most points. Layout the board and add the spinner. Each player selects a car and places two people pegs inside and puts it in the start location on the game board. Shuffle the life cards and deal five cards to each player, then place the remaining cards to the side. Shuffle the career cards and deal three to each player. Each player chooses one career card and places it face-up on the table in front of them and returns the other two cards to the deck. Shuffle the career card deck again and place it to the side. Each player takes from the bank the amount of cash shown on their career card. Pick a player to go first, then turns alternate.
On your turn, spin the spinner and move your car that number of spaces along the path. When you land on a yellow space, play one life card from your hand on either you or your opponent and follow the instructions on the card. There are 4 types of cards you can play: Good cards add life points to your score as indicated by the green number. Stuff cards also add life but you must pay the amount shown on the card in order to play it. On any of your opponent’s turns, they may pay the amount listed on the card and steal from you. Good cards are free and cannot be stolen.
Not so good cards can only be played on yourself, and they remove life points from your score at the end of the game as indicated by the red number. “It happens” cards may be played on either you or your opponent, who must pay the amount, then you discard the card.
If a player doesn't have enough money to pay the fee from a card. Then they just pay what they have. At the end of your turn, draw until you have five life cards in your hand, then your opponent goes. When you pass a payday. Collect your salary from the bank. If you land on payday collect double your salary.
When you land on a neighborhood gossip space, your opponent must reveal their hand. You must then select one of your opponent’s cards and play it either on yourself or on them. When you pass the baby space, you add another people peg to your car. If you land on the baby space, you get twins and add two people pegs to your car. When you come to one of the three stop spaces on the board, you must stop on that space, even if you have moves left, and follow its instructions. Spin for kids or pets and place the appropriate number of pegs in your car based on what you spin. If you land on an orange or red space, follow its instructions.
You may discard and draw a new career card at any point in the game. If you do, do not take any additional cash. When one player reaches the end of the road, their opponent gets 1 final turn then the game ends. You receive 10 life points for each person in your car. 5 life points for each pet. 1 life point for each ten thousand dollars you have. Add or subtract any points from cards that were played on you. what if the bank runs out of cash? what do I do then?
Hahaha😂 Probably like in real life, the game goes into a Depression in other words, "GAME OVER"😱🤪
May not collect cash if bank runs out. The bank may be refilled if paying it.
I have two additional questions:
1. What if your car is full but you still get babies or animals?
2. Can you just choose which path you take after the stop signs?
My guess is for the second one is yes, it works like a fork in the standard Life game
For 1, unfortunately that means you maxed out your bonus. Just simply do nothing.

My variation:
When you reach retirement first, you get 8 more points.
You can only swap your job with the three cards you were dealt at the beginning of the game. Therefore, you can only swap your jobs TWICE at most.

Any idea what the red space, opponent takes 3 cards means from hand or from played cards?
The red space: opponent takes 3 cards must let your opponent take 3 cards from your hand and they must follow the rules for neighborhood gossip space. Instead your opponent must play a first card that they take from you, then second, and then third.
Question, how do you chose which road (fork) to go down when it splits?

I have some questions about this game which are unclear for me. I have the game myself and the instruction manual is a bit summier in what I undersrsnd. Maybe somebody can help me out.
1. Do your 5 life cards need to blind in front of you or open in your hand?
2. If you land on the red tile: 'the opponent takes away three cards from your deck'. Will this happen blindly? Or can the opponent choose the cards itself?
3. My friend and I also played red cards (not so good) out of our hands by each other instead of ourselves but in this explanation you can only play these cards by yourself. Why is that?
Tried playing with my daughter. The instructions are vague at best. Really disappointed. I think everyone just has to make up their own rules and figure it out as you go.

2. Hasbro didn’t use the rules for orange and red spaces. The red space: opponent takes 3 cards must let your opponent must take 3 cards from your hand and must do the same as neighborhood gossip space. Instead, the first card your opponent has taken must be played first, then second, then third.
3. Those not so good cards shouldn’t be your opponent because it is not fair to your opponent. So you must play it to yourself

Some it happens cards has a spinner on it. Instead of paying 10k, you spin the spinner and pay the amount shown on the number spun
