RUIN is the DLC for Security Breach where a girl named "Cassie" returns to the Pizzaplex after its been destroyed and everything inside has been "Ruined" and Cassie is looking for Gregory from Security Breach Also That thing you said is building them is "The Mimic" Its really worth watching someone play through this game

The story of the DLC is about a young girl named Cassie explores the ruins of the old megaplex in hopes to find her friend Gregory. And in her adventures she comes across the ruined animatronics that mistake her as Gregory or are still filled with the Afton virus that makes them violent and aggressive.
But in the end of Cassie's adventure she thought she was there to rescue her friend only to actually free a bare bones animatronic called "the Mimic" who has taken a morbid fascination, inspiration of William Afton the original serial killer of the series
Gregory is the protagonist of fnaf Security Breach
The goal in Fnaf Ruin is to rescue gregory
Then there's the twist about "Gregory" Actually being the mimic fooling you to set him free

Let me break it down for you. So in the normal game gregory saves vanny and leaves and was able to save but they went back to lock up the so called mimic animatronic made in the 1980s by a past fredbear animatronic designer that animatronic was made for his son to mimic the father so when he wasnt home his son didnt feel alone but ofc as the name he has MIMIC you could see where this goes, So the son died and the father destroyed the animatronic cuz it reminded him of his son and as you could think the animatronic did indeed learn and from then now he now has the ability to kill, So fredbears intertainment went to investigate and found the animatronic but they all died ofc but eventually got it to work and brung it to fredbears witch is under the pizzaplex now you may be asking how did the mimic get the walky talky well gregory and vanny let him down there and trapped him down where he is gregory and vanny locked him down there now the vanni program was made by gregory and vanni to keep people from letting the mimic out thats why the mimic tricks you to deactivate all the security nodes to let him out, There you go
