About Anjelah:
Anjelah Johnson-Reyes was born and raised in San Jose, California where she grew up with four siblings in a large extended family to which she remains close. Anjelah found herself an internet sensation and pioneer in viral UA-cam videos when her notorious “Nail Salon” bit from a local comedy show was posted and received over 100 million views! Shortly thereafter she was added to the cast on the original MADtv where she trademarked her legendary character, Bon Qui Qui. Similar to the nail salon video, the Bon Qui Qui sketch caught on and have been viewed by over 75 million people. The multi-hyphenate’s popularity has translated into four successful comedy specials: That’s How We Do It” (Comedy Central), The Homecoming Show (NUVO TV), Not Fancy (Netflix) and Mahalo & Good Night (Epix). She has displayed her acting prowess both on TV and film. Some of her credits include “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Superstore,” “Moms’ Night Out,” and “Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.” Her first book was published in 2022, Who Do I Think I Am: Stories of Chola Wishes and Caviar Dreams, a hilarious and touching memoir full of memorable anecdotes on how a Latina dynamo was able to forge ahead and become successful.
I love her comedy. She doesn’t say on curse word and she is hilarious. She is really smart and clever making day to day life and mundane things super funny!
I’m a twin, but the oldest. My sister calls me all the time at work. This is spot on. She asks the silliest questions when I’m super busy. I love her though. 😂

This is my mom and one of her sisters. They will sit on the phone in silence and do things on their own ends and you’ll wonder WHY??. I realize it’s just cuz they like BEING with each other. Even if it’s on the phone in silence. I have all brothers and they never call..

I'm the baby of 5 sisters.. when I was little they didn't want to have to take me places with them but when mom made them I was ALWAYS introduced as THE BABY.. pffttt.. then we got older.. (I'm 60 end of this month) we I get introduced now I make sure and mention "I'M THE BABY" :D take that old hags tsk tsk tsk :D

I was in the police academy on my birthday and during one of my morning classes a counselor came into the room looked at me and motioned me out the door. I had to march to the front door where I saw a huge balloon display.The card was from my little sister wishing me a happy birthday. I had to carry those balloons all day class to class and to the dining hall. I never forgave her for that.

That opening joke was my line every year with my big brother - "any time I'm feeling like time has passed me by, I remind myself that no matter how old I may get, you will always be _nine years_ older than THAT." 😂 Sorry to say, with every year we get past 2020, I get one year closer to catching up to him, and someday I may yet pass his final total of 62. At this point he's only 6 years older than I. It's such a fun joke, until it stops being true. 😢

I'm the oldest and have 3 sisters and a brother and they made my hair fall out. Lol, I was a stressed put 13 year old. My mom got to have an adolescence during mine because i did all the work.
