It’s been known early on since 2016 that 1D weren’t coming back in one year. Harry signed a 3 album contract and obviously he would want to tour them. The other boys with their solo careers also showed the same thing. 1D will never come back and release multiple albums and tour again… who knows? but Harry rather be a solo artist and put out the music he’s doing. Going back to 1D wouldn’t be the same and would be a step backwards in his eyes at the moment. The best Directioners will get is a reunion tour but once again who knows.
And people say they promised 18 months, they never promised anytime. But if they didn’t do some form of reunion I’d be pretty Surprised as we mean so much to them, they mean so much to each other, they have literally said and they are very honest people so they obviously think it’s going to happen to or they wouldn’t have said, Niall was asked in a lie detector if he thinks or would happen, He said yes which was the truth. I completely understand why people would lose hope as I have myself a little bit before, but I remember what they have said and how honest they same to be and how much they would love a reunion and the fact that mostly every single boy band that has gone on a break or officially disbanded have come back in some way or another is they understand how much they mean to each other and their fans. And with as close as the boys where and still are today and fans as Passionate as directioners they would never let us or each other down like that. So do this for our boys. Keep your head up, stand by them, support them believe them, as they would never lie to us or let us down like that. If you start doubting it take a deep breath search up or think about times in interviews recently they promised us. Always be here for them.
