Dane I have my driving test in the morning! Even if I don’t pass, you have been an unbelievable source of knowledge and I will continue to learn from your videos. I’m so grateful that you take the time to help so many of us out ❤️
Hi Dane, I passed my test in Tallaght this morning and definitely have to give you a big thank you! Your videos are absolute gold; you explain everything to clearly and in such an easy to understand way. My sister is just starting on her own driving journey and I have her watching your videos already! Thanks so much again and keep up the amazing work!
I cleared the test in my 1st attempt, thank you very much.. all your videos helped a lot sir.. I was referring your videos until last minute to my test..
Hi Dane I just passed my test today first try thanks to your videos I was watching for a week but I binged a ton last night just before so thank you for everything!
Best of luck on your test Gillian, I have mine Friday week, 🤞🏻 crossed all goes well, I’m binge watching all your videos at the moment ,finding them really helpfull
at the beginning of the video when u show the closed roundabout i have a question. the car on the right was rolling over a stop marking and u was rolling over the yield marking. it seems to me that u had the right of way since the stop is stronger than yield. am i wrong?
Hi Dane, If you are approaching a large two lane roundabout and you are in the outside lane.. is it okay to come onto the roundabout using the car on your inside lane as a shield if you will (even though you cannot see exactly what is coming) or should you wait til just after the vehicle on your inside has moved onto the roundabout and proceed after you have looked yourself?
I have my driving test coming up and I find I’m taking off at roundabouts too slow and by the time I have moved off the cars from the right are right at me and are having to slow down to let me continue is this a big problem I just find it hard to take off quick without cutting out the car
@@DaneTygheletsdrive yeah I am I think my problem is I’m coming up from the cluch so slow and not speeding up and then by the time I’m on the roundabout the car is ready to go in my side and it looks like I pulled out but I didn’t
Yes I understand what you mean, you will need to practice getting the bite quicker and perhaps holding it for a couple of seconds before the opportunity arises to go. You can also have your hand ready on the handbrake if you want.
I have two question how to look at the mirror while turning left how to perfectly turn left and how to slow down and stop. I need to know this today please. Thank you
At 0:30 theres a stop line where the Toyota emerged from. Does he have to stop for you and let you go? Could you have went before the car even arrived at the stop line seeing that the line is saying to stop?
Technically I could have went if he stopped long enough but the truth is that not many people stop there so you always have to be alert and yield to the right. That stop line was put there a number of years ago to try and stop people from barging out without the proper looks as it's quite blind.
@@DaneTygheletsdrive thought that was the case alright. Just like many of our stop lines, no one stops at them. I wasn’t questioning you or anything, I was just asking in case I came across something similar!

Do you have a lessons on automatic. Amean what are the things one needs to know
I still need good timing to observe them. Before moving off on them.

No the car on the right and traffic already on the roundabout has priority. You can't trust Irish drivers to stop at the sign.

Best to wait, using the shielding technique is risky

Are you getting the bite? Are you waiting in 1st gear?

Middle and left mirror before you signal. Use the brake and clutch to slow down and stop.
Can you move into 2nd gear while you're on the roundabout
Wy did you let that car go first if you were ready to go and he had a stop line? At 0:30 sec.
