it is a joke these are funny videos, and of course she learns basic words of the languages of the places she visits on her tours, that part was funny because it wasn't scripted, she was just responding to the fans.
Knowing nine words in another language doesn't make you bilingual haha

question for brazilians, is when you say obrigado(a) does it depend of the person you are talking to or you just use it interchangeably?, like that is confusing to me, when my dad first told me about it after a visit to Sao Paulo I assumed it was depending on who you talk to, but then I have seen people use it interchangebly so what is it?
my mom is brazilian and I know like 10 words but I think it’s feminine or masculine, like it depends on what your gender is
If you are a girl, you say "obrigada" to everybody, men and women. If you are a boy, you say "obrigado" to everybody.
It depends, for example if somebody doing you a favor and you want to nicely thank that you saying “obrigado(a) according to your own gender, however if you want to just refer to that component as a noun like “I want to give you my thank to you guys” then it will always being in masculine gender. I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker so that it how we speak in our daily lives.

@@patax144Honestly, it's one of those things where depends on the person/city, *but* you only use obrigadA if you a woman, however even if you are a woman you can say obrigadO, I never once used the feminine version. You can just say obrigado regardless of gender or situation.
