Nice video Andy - I haven't ridden tally backwards. I'm healing up from the October crash at Barber, but not quite ready for the track.

Hope your healing is coming along and you set your own schedule (not someone else's) when/if you get back on the track.

Glad to see it in reverse.... Weird, probably not my flavor but interesting and fun nonetheless! Thanks for the video Andy!

Yeah some days I really like the reverse. This particular day I was luke warm about it but did have some good laps with friends

It's funny because I thought reverse would be a much slower pace. But my pace within 1 sec of the normal direct. mid 105 vs low 106. The only issue I have is if you hard trail braking into turn 5, your front jumps due to how shit the ground is and it is super easy to run wide.

@@HangOnHangOff I'm definitely slower in the opposite direction but chipping away at improvement. I've also found that it coming from T5/4 onto that short straight, it's easy (or terrifying) to run right up to the edge of the grass. I also find that the bump in T1 is much more pronounced in the reverse direction. That's another line I'm still trying to figure out.

@@palerider6611 Oh yea turn 1 is harder in reverse. I just try to turn in as late as possible and hang off as far as possible and let the bike shake. I found the turn in is harder than dealing with the shaking, due to how far you can push it. as for the T5/4, I throttle myself out to the edge of the grass (in theory) as I come out of the turn, I think that is the right way of doing it.

How was riding with the precision guys? I'm with them for the first time at Jennings in May

I’ve ridden with several orgs now over the years. Very very smooth track operations.

I thought they did a decent job. Since they are new, they are still working out some small things here and there. One of the owners (Fahad) certainly is trying his best to improve things and have a decent event. Can't really comment much on the coaching since there really were not any in the Expert group aside from the ones in this video.
