Thank you very much with this nice comment. It's funny you mentioned 'Slow Down'. I was just about to pull the trigger on that one but changed my mind at the last minute in favor of 'Lang Tall Sally' because I thought it was a bit more popular. 'Slow Down' is one of my favorites. It's like renewing a love affair that we thought had given all it had to give - yet you've found more, and more and more. I simply don't know how you do it. Already too many masterpiece mixes to mention as they are all so wonderful - but I can't say thank you enough for WE CAN WORK IT OUT. @@barcaveful You're reply is very much appreciated, thank you so much! I can assure you I didn't sing it as well and as passionate as John. I was just 14 years old in 1966 and couldn't have done it at any age. I've actually learned much from George Martin as I've read all his books and would pay attention to any of his interviews when aired. I never met him but I did meet his engineer Geoff Emerick once. I'm an old school mixer in which I take a Beatles recording and mix them in a way that I feel George and his team would have if they just had a few more tracks available to them at the time. So much of what they did was limited to a two or four-track recorder. After de-mixing the original I have a few more isolated tracks to work with than they did which enables me to spread them out a bit more on the stereo stage more like mixes in the late 60's. I'm glad I've had the chance to share these remixes. It's a good feeling knowing that many others share my passion!
For those who support the claim that all Paul did for the Beatles was right 'Yesterday' need to watch this. I agree the early days the leader was definitely John, but without McCartney nothing would have happened and later both would be equivalent contenders for talent and genius and for some the Band's later albums saw a shift with McCartney playing the lead role. McCartney had a work ethic like no other and still does today. What brilliance Lennon and McCartney brought to the lives ofmillions.
Well done again, sir. Loving the drums. Just would like to hear more of that rhythm guitar in the right channel. Nice to hear the piano clearly though.
Thank you! I desperately wanted to raise the right channel guitar but I could not separate it cleanly from the piano to do so. I refuse to add a newly recorded guitar part, as other remixers do, to achieve this. Thanks for listening!
It’s my personal feeling most guitar solos should be as loud as the vocal. That said, love the video and love many of the super remixes on this channel. 💛🫡
Thank you! No, I haven't but it's high on my list. As with 'Long Tall Sally' the drums and bass are in the left channel and I think a move to the center would add some life. Thanks for listening!
Beatles historians will tell you that this was the song that began *Beatlemania.* Not this performance with Ringo from 1964, but rather the 1960 performance with Pete Best, at Litherland Town Hall in Liverpool. The lads had just returned from their first trip to Hamburg, and with Pete on drums, the band had been transformed. Prior to recruiting Pete in August of that year, just days before the Hamburg trip, The Beatles were awful, the worst band in Liverpool. But they add Pete to the lineup, go to Hamburg, and the German crowds are so loud and raucous that Pete invents his revolutionary, *"Atom Beat",* to be heard over the noise, turning The Beatles into a killer Rock 'n Roll band. So when they came home for Christmas in '60 and played at Litherland Town Hall, nobody knew who they were. That's how obscure they had been before they left. The kids at the dance hall that night thought The Beatles were German, because the posters said, "Direct from Hamburg, The Beatles!". It was only later in the show when the kids heard them talking onstage that they realized they were fellow scousers. lol But back to the start of the show, to *the moment Beatlemania* began. As the lads were setting up their instruments, the kids in the hall were away from the stage. There were over a thousand kids in the dance hall that night, and they were there just to dance, but also with a curiosity to see what this "German" band sounded like. Well, when The Beatles suddenly began playing, it was the rockin' Little Richard cover, *"Long Tall Sally".* Every kids' head snapped around, and they all rushed the stage. Oh, they'd heard other bands cover the song, many times. But none of the kids had ever heard anything like this, and were screaming their heads off. No one was dancing, this had never happened in Liverpool before! The Beatles' hard rocking, hard-hitting, boot-stomping, Atom Beat sound, *_forged_* in the basement clubs of Hamburg was so new, so raw, so loud, and so very different--it blew everyone away. The date was December 27, 1960, at Litherland Town Hall in Liverpool. *It is the night that Beatles historians agree marked the birth of Beatlemania.* (Ringo wouldn't join the band until two years later.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Beatles classic rock-and-roll.
Wonderful!
Play it, George!
Great remix!
Thank you! Glad you're listening!
ACES!
MASTERPIECE ♥️
Thanks so much and thanks for listening!
Best song in the world
Excellent mix. Ringos drumming at the end is top notch, Keith Moon basically done the same triplet pattern for the end of My Generation. Ringo doesn't get much credit for this performance.
Thank you!
👍😄Terrific audio and video. Thank you!
My pleasure and thank you for listening and watching! I'm glad you liked it. Thank you!
Wow! Just brilliant! It's as if we we were there and the there of '64 was here!
Not being greedy but to follow this (and I know your request list must be a mile long at this point) surely it has to be John's EP answer to Paul's showstopper - SLOW DOWN - arguably his greatest Rock & Roll vocal that tops even Twist and shout. Just asking. But so, so grateful for all you do.
It was one of the few songs that I was allowed to sing lead on in a local band I played in back in the mid 1960's. I'm grateful that your listening. Thanks!
@@britt2001b You don't need to thank us, but we need to thank you. I hope you realise that what you are doing here is pure joy to those of us lucky enough to have stumbled fortuitously upon your work. It's like renewing a love affair that we thought had given all it had to give - yet you've found more, and more and more. I simply don't know how you do it. Personally, much as I love the '66 Beatles on, my deep love remains forever '63-'65. So whenever you release something from that period its like Father Christmas on a perfectly snowy Christmas day! Already too many masterpiece mixes to mention as they are all so wonderful - but I can't say thank you enough for WE CAN WORK IT OUT. I don't know how you did it but its now on a level beyond the extraordinary. Being no fan of the 'George Martin made the Beatles' myth, I can only think what we might have had if you had been in the booth back then. And I would love to have heard you belt out SLOW DOWN JL style. Seeing as you say you were doing it in the mid '60s, you've clearly some LONG TALL SALLY story to tell!
I freaking love Slow Down!
Ringo rocks !
You got that RIGHT !!!
Ringo's insane !!!😊
RINGO RINGO RINGO ¡¡¡ GRANDE RINGO
Brilliant ❤
Glad you enjoyed this. Thanks for listening!
The LTS Ep stereo mixes were the first 3-point stereo mixes of Beatles songs from 4-track.
Fantastico ❤
Great! Glad you liked it. Thanks for listening!
Good grief Ringo was a beast!
excellent remix wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Damn....I'm old.
And famously the first take.
P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N!
Nice remix.
Thank you! Glad you're listening!
Excelent job! I would like to hear a remix of All my Living and Please Mr Postman
Tremendous!!! The pre Rubber Soul material needs so much work. You're like Michelangelo, chiseling out a masterpiece from raw material.
I'm glad you enjoyed this. Thank you very much for your kind comment! Your listening is appreciated!
It’s my personal feeling most guitar solos should be as loud as the vocal. That said, love the video and love many of the super remixes on this channel. 💛🫡
Glad you liked the video, thank you! I experimented with moving the leads to the center but it left too much of a void in the left channel.
Will I ever have the pleasure to hear remixes of songs from the same EP Long Tall Sally is included?
I've considered 'Slow Down' but I have a few more projects in front. Thank you!
👍👍👍👍
This is a brilliant remix I think you should do im down
Thank you! 'I'm Down' is another great rocker!
The first guitar break was John.
Awesome! This is my favorite period for the Beatles. Have you done "Kansas City" yet?
It was only later in the show when the kids heard them talking onstage that they realized they were fellow scousers. lol
But back to the start of the show, to *the moment Beatlemania* began. *It is the night that Beatles historians agree marked the birth of Beatlemania.* (Ringo wouldn't join the band until two years later.)

Certainly better than the shrill disaster they used on Past Masters. This pretty much sounds like my own remix.
Ringo Starr dà lezione di batteria. Ritmo sincopato alla grande.
If it’s not too much to ask, could you PLEASE remix one of my personal favorites, Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band? Awesome work so far! I reckon it’s the best way to hear Beatles music.
Back when Paul had the voice of a 22 year old not the whisper of an 82 year old. What an instrument it once was.
Paul used this high-pitched, raspy voice one more time over the chorus on Hey Jude

Shel Talmy would have done a much better production of this track than the engineers at Abbey Road. The mono mix is terrible. They had no idea how to mic Ringo's drums. Shel Talmy produced The Who's My Generation LP which got the best sound out of Keith Moon's drums.
This is the best British performance of an American rock and roll song bar none. Even betters Richards original.Tell you what makes me laugh everytime I hear it....."Ladies and gentlemen the greatest rock and roll band in the world...the Rolling Stones" Do me a favour. I love the Stones 45s by the way.
One take.
BRITT , LISTEN UP ....CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHEN WILL YOU BE POSTING YOUR NEXT TRACK ....TODAY IT IS TUESDAY ...SOMETIME THIS WEEK ?😂🎅🏻🤶🏻🎁🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🎵🎵🎵❤️❤️👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻🎵🎵🎵🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥
Yes, working on a new one now. Should be posted before the end of the week. Stay tuned!
THANK YOU SO MUCH .....I WONDER WHICH TRACK COULD IT BE .....I WILL BE TUNED ALL WEEK 🙏🏻😂😂😂❤️
Better versions exist before by the pioneers of RnR!
The first guitar solo is by Lennon, but no one brings it to the front of the mix so it really can be heard.
Great remix of the record. I can hear a piano here. This is not the Washington concert track.
Thank you! This is a remix of the studio version with George Martin on piano.
Weird. I just heard more second time listening!
who's playing piano?
George Martin, their producer.
Sorry, no remix. Not Ringo playing. Who played the piano? Paul McCartney yes, remix from 1964, no.
@gsmith1213 If not Ringo then a real good copycat. There are many live video recordings of them performing this song throughout the early years and it’s clearly Ringo playing.
George Martin on piano. It's definitely Ringo on drums.
@@danmontagano5676 George Martin was a record producer. He didn't tour with them.
