I actually listened to the new Ministry. If you like Ministry, it's probably fine, but it gets a little goofy at the end. If you don't like Ministry, then see how far you can make it into the album before cracking.
Critical Defiance is THE shit! Happy to see more people taking notice, because they are an awesome, awesome band. Their debut, Misconception, is brilliant.

Also, as a person that gets up way too early in the morning to watch races from all over the planet I enjoyed your F1 joke.

For those curious, the record label name for the Septage record "Me Saco un Ojo" translates to "I take out one of my eyes." Appropriate given that it's a gore metal album, jaja.
so much good metal this month! Apogean - Cyberstrictive Phenomenal Toronto Tech Death! Ecclesia - Ecclesia Militans French doom. Its like an epic and heeeeaaavy Ghost Lutharo - Chasing Euphoria Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario. Its thrash its power its melodeath and its so fun! Fathomless Ritual - Hymns For The Lesser Brendan Dean from Toronto gives us a weird (in a positive way) technical and cavernous death metal. Also, sick artwork by Marcio Blasphemator. Defect Designer - Chitin Again, some weird (positive) prog death metal from Norway. And the cover art! Super weird, unsettling but beautiful from Ian Miller (Ulthar). Messiah - Christus Hypercubus Swiss old school death/thrash pioneers, the end. Stormhunter - Best Before Death heavy, fun, power,fun, speed, fun metal Scavenger - Beyond the Bells Old school true heavy metal from Belgium.
A lot of melodic bm suffers from the same problem that melodic dm has, that being the melodic properties having very tired regurgitations of simple ideas that have little to no character. I would rather hear countless Von or Blasphemy clones of bands that suck because they actually suck and not because they're trying way too hard 😂
How is Judas Priest, borknagar, or Bruce Dickinson albums not reviewed? Some of the most anticipated and well received albums this year so far from legendary acts

All trash music, except for the goregrind. And Septage isn't the epitome of dope gore grind by any means. Sure music and genres are all subjective but ultra brutal deathgrind and goregrind are the only good metal genres. And not gore noise.
