Composer, Simon Dobson's contemporary test work for Brass Band, 'A Symphony of Colours'. Performed here in its world premier by The Fairey Band (conducted by Russell Gray) at the 2011 European Brass Band championships to a full house at the Stravinsky Hall in Montreux, Switzerland.

When I compose for BB, I know the instruments that carry when heavy and when light, but hey!! Wait!!! You hear at the end the bass trombone when the band is full FFF? well done, killing it.
