have this pizza oven i use charcoal. and with the pizza stone i wrap it with tin foil and then i put a Non Stick BBQ Grill Mat on it that calms the heat from doing just the bottom of the pizza. giving it more time to do the top. and thank to all that. the whole pizza goes all toasty and i have made more than 20 pizzas and none of them have gone black. and my family loves it.
Tomato & Mozzarella Pizza yummy. salami pizza and the beef kebabs all looked delicious. looks like a great piece of kit. Great share my friends. Like 9
pizzas looked yummy, but a ad came on , I did not see how you got it out of the oven, the stone had to be hot? but you were cutting the pizza on a board, you left the stone in the oven till cooled? but than you were cooking kabobs and the stone was gone, next time please show how you get the hot stone out, it looked like it was a inch below the door and not easily to just slide out! Hi, we made 2 pizzas the first we made up cold on the stone and slotted it in, once cooked it lifted off great, 2nd pizza we scooped into the oven onto hot stone, the stone lifted out quite easily with tongs and an oven glove
The stone has to get upto temp with the oven and scraping your knife across the stone will definitely blunt your blade and possibly crack your stone. Great video dude. I bought the smoker/ pizza oven yesterday. Just wanted to see if it works. Ok.
@@Mandyglen I thank you for the reply. May I ask how long did the oven last ? My thoughts on the thin coat metal and no insulation within the dome. I presume about 2 years. Then with our British weather and possibly being outside. The rust may have taken its toll on the metal. I have a smoker and a flattop griddle plate. That seem to perish slightly over the winter season. Also have you perfected the dough recipe ? I have all the ingredients and looking now for the perfect dough recipe.
We’ve kept it covered mostly so it’s fairing pretty well. It was in storage for a little while due to us moving house but we’ve just started setting up the garden accessories and hoping to get using it again soon. We haven’t made much progress with dough. We did occasionally buy the ready to use pizza dough, a bit of a cheat, but handy to keep in the freezer. Need to work on that.

Given that it can close and that you can also close the vents you could also use it as a smoker. With an added accessory for cold smoking you could even use it as a cold smoker. Interesting!

1. As soon as the roller came out I knew they didn't know what they were doing. All that roller pin does is push out the air pockets which are what you need for a light and airy crust. This will be a hard dense crust. 2. When I saw her put the dough on the cold stone I thought geez what are they thinking?! The stone should be coming up to temperature in the oven... the pizza goes on with a pizza peel!!! 3. It's not a pie... don't curl the edges. If you leave the sauce off the edges (and don't push all the air pockets out with a rolling pin) the edges will naturally fluff up to form an edge. 4. Build the fire inside the oven... what a mess. You can use an aluminum foil pan to put the charcoal/wood in to make for easy cleanup. 5. I'm sure these are very nice people, but they need to do a little research... the results could have been significantly better...

Yes, we often do, but we found the base nice and crisp even without doing that :o)

We've never tried it, but would imagine that you can bake a reasonable sized loaf 🍞 in there!
