I find it funny that people are disliking this video when this is the legitimate solution. It's not his fault that Kia made a car that requires you to do stupid things to get the light to turn off.
Maybe they’re disliking because driving it for 10 miles is not working ? If it wasn’t for the comments I wouldn’t really be trying to pump my tire pressure above what it’s suppose to be, continuing to drive it and have to deflate them back down. It’s quite a silly solution. I understand not his fault, but.
Yipppeee. 2018 Sorento, right rear tire showing low. I saw other videos saying to over fill that tire but that didn't work for me though I may not have gone high enough. With this video , I over filled all tires to 40 ( 34 is the correct pressure ) , it reset and and the warning lights went out in a mile, I didn't even make it to the freeway to drive over 55 for 10 min. Thanks so much as this was so annoying. I still need to reset to the correct pressure but so far so good.
I had the same issue but my warning light came on every time the weather dropped cold. There's a trigger point at which the alarm goes off, about 33psi. It won't reset till you've pumped them all back to 36psi. The tyre pressure sensor is powered magnetically by the rotation of the wheel so it will not reset until you get moving and let the system acknowledge the new pressure 👍
I've just had the same with cold morning saying one of the tyres was down. The recommended pressure inside the car door is 2.4bar (daft they don't show in psi) which is 34psi so requiring to go above (as in the video) is a design fault
I increased a pressure up to 45 psi and still no reaction, then I deflated tyre to 15psi next pumped it up to 45psi. Warning lamp went off, then lowered pressure manually to 33psi level. Thanks for advice.
It's a nightmare system, triggered by a change of season or one off cold day. Perfect illustration of poorly designed technology feeding car owners back to the Kia dealership

Have the car running. On the right hand side, behind the steering wheel, there should be a button called "set". Hold it down for 3 second. It will reset the pressure indication and remove the light. Then turn off the car and then restart the car. Then your all good to go.

Same problem! Seems like the weather does play a part... my kia spectra recommended 30 and it still went off at 33... went up to 36 and it turned off for a bit but now it's acting up again... 🙄

Driving with increased tyre pressure decreases your road grip and increases wear unevenly on the central section of the tyre. Neither of these options are good.

Well, that was 10 minutes of my life wasted for nothing. Couldn't you have just said drive 10 miles and it'll reset itself or pump up the tires without all that inane talk? I felt like I was listening to a diary!
I have to say, of all the different cars I drove over the years, there is nothing I like about the Kia Sportage. Absolutely nothing. It's an underpowered piece of 💩. It has an extensive array of dashboard warning lights. I know this because they are all lit up like a Christmas tree 🌲. You close the door and it sounds like a rattle in a biscuit tin. The diesel engine sounds like an old tractor and you press to accelerate and nothing happens except for an asthmatic wheeze, like emphazema has finally caught up with it. As I said, it's a piece of 💩 that I'm stuck with for another year or so.

Thank you! EXACTLY correct!

Exactly what I believe triggered mine, first day I had frost on my car....
Worked on kia Niro. Let tyre down to 20 psi and inflated to 37 psi. It corrected itself. Thanks. Something useful for once

Thanks mate, tried it and it works.
Great Video. Solved problem!!! It was a little long but worth it!!!
How do you exactly get it off? Do I have to hit a button?
Excellent 👍 saved me a big headache . It’s helped us .👍😎
Very informative. Thank you.

Waste of time video!!! (Tells you to drive it 10 miles)
I did today 150 KLM and the tire presure light is still on!10 miles, make me laugh.2020 is my Sportage odometer 975 klm only.
Thank you! Wading through hundreds of pages of the manual would be painful.
There’s 3 mins I won’t get back in my life
Thank you worked like a charm
2:54 of my life I’ll never get back 🤯
Not for nothing-did this really need to be that long of a video?
Could’ve been said in 15 seconds.
Nice one thanks for sharing!

Me too did you get yours to go off yet, mines changed after driving to just saying check TPMS

Genius. I aired all down from 38 to 15 then up to 42, drove for a few miles and light gone!!
Why your start/stop system ligh is orange?
Hi For kia rio 2012 how to do? thank you
That British accent . Is he saying 45 PSI or is he saying four or five PSI.
4 or 5
Zever tinus

"Kia Spawwwtaaageee, Mawwwk fohhhhhhhh"
That's buddy
Our sorento was horribly finicky about the tire pressure. Every time the weather changed it would go off. I'm glad to be rid of that car.
So is the tyre pressure for a Sportage 40 psi can you let me know thanks
It’s 35 ps1 for a stportage
40lbs is way to much air the sensors need to be re programed
Depends on the tires. The 19 inch stock tires have a min of 35 psi and a max of 44 psi.
if 40 psi ... is too much ... what do you use? ... (PRINTED ON TIRE ...as the manufacturers recommend between 44 - 65 psi. )
Driving with increased tyre pressure decreases your road grip and increases wear unevenly on the central section of the tyre. Neither of these options are good.
he's saying 4-5 psi above what's recommended. please don't pump your tires up to 45psi.
Really?? Why not just do it, then show the results on your video? Poorly made presentation.
so during this video why on earth were you idle running??
The tyre pressure display won't work unless your engine is running
No it won't
This video literally uses a ton of words to say nothing
Whats the yellow A means ?
Auto stop-start inactive, a normal indication when that system is suppressed
you stupid !! change the subject
2 min video for you to say that
3min video for no reason all you had to say was drive for 10 miles and it will reset 30 sec video that's all thanks for rest of all the useless info 🤟
Get to the fucking point lol

These feckin things are just a pointless nuisance. They're so temperamental, you start to ignore them, fault or not.
Too much faffle

So are you telling people to drive around with over inflated tyres? Ridicules and dangerous!
