Thank you Yannick for being REAL.... It’s not easy. I’m a born Canadian (Montreal) living in Bermuda and my kids and grandkids live in Canada. I am struggling with the lockdown and everything else that comes with me. I miss my friends and my regular routine. Stay safe....
Greetings from Texas!Thank you Yannick it’s wonderful to know you’re a normal person who suffers and overcomes those times. Suggestions to help overcome those moments are admirable. My husband and I love your series enjoy you very much. You do a great job with the character Murdoch.I can’t believe we never watched you in the last 10 years. We must’ve been pretty busy. We are so happy to her found Murdoch Mysteries and watch it every chance we get. Catching up with the episodes on weekends on Ion TV. It’s the best program on TV for us! God bless!😷👍🏼💕
This is the best way to beat the current crisis and the depression it can bring. Yannick is a very “down-to-earth” kind of guy - probably his Canadian roots. TFS!❤️🇨🇦
Thank you very much for sharing true feelings during lockdown. Its very important. Watching pool parties of some stars in instagram make u feel even more down. Watching you, sharing normal , true feelings kind of helping and making me feel more positive. We also have beautiful mountains in Romania, unfortunately we are not allowed to go there yet and i miss a lot walking with my family in the forrest and mountains. Thank you Yannik
Great to see a familiar face and hear a familiar voice. Your show has been bringing enjoyment to our household for years. We really do hope another season is in the near future. Take care & all the best to you and your family!!!
His voice is the best , when I first discovered the show...I had to watch the first episode like 50 times, I kept falling asleep....but this was great because I had been about a decade behind in rest😉😌
I think it’s very fascinating how the famous Yannick Bisson is giving us a biology/geography/coronavirus awareness lesson! They should make an episode about det. Murdoch teaching Physics.
Thank you for reaching out and letting fans know you and your family are staying safe .. I did wonder where the rest of the murdoch family where at, hope they are all save.. We need you all back save.
What an appealing human is Mr Bisson. Thank you for not feeling compelled to do a comedy routine that seems to be the default of most humans on social media. This was simply lovely. The talk about feeling "down" vs true "depression" and the geology tidbits and the virus . . . all meandering in a simple, lively, and lovely manner like the trail you are hiking.
Thank you Yannick for being real. Nature is my sanctuary too and thank you for the real down to earth authentic inspiration. And as much as I love my family, they’re driving me a little bonkers right now. Anyone else feel that?🧘♀️❤️ 🏔 🌲 🌞
Thanks for being honest dearest Yannick 🥰😘 it helps seeing and hearing you talking about this..love nature!! And Murdoch helped a lot during quarantine!! 😊😜😘 hello feom Romania! Great Person! Great actor! great show!!!
Nice seeing Yannick as himself. Love him in Murdoch Mysteries but it's awesome seeing what he is REALLY like. Thanks for sharing your hike with us. Be Safe...
Man!! I liked you already as an actor but after watching this love ya as a person brother! Thanks for being so real, and down to earth. It’s the quality I admire the most in a person and respect you for it man. God bless Yannick. Keep it real and all the best to you and your family!
What a great guy to inform , admit, let us fans know....he's just like most of us. I always feel so much better after being outside, nature,etc....not so much after mowing the lawn...
Thank you! I live in Tennessee and have a great view of Great Smoky Mountains. I suffer from anxiety attacks. I hike to the top of the hill behind my house for an even better view of the mts. About a month ago I was searching Acorn and found Murdock Mystery. I watch two episodes every evening, and I’m on season 11. Great way to spend time during this time of quarantine.👍👍😷
Thanks for sharing Yannick! Just found Murdoch mysteries on Hulu, used to binge watch when I was in Canada. Don’t worry about not being funny, 😆 you have many other fine qualities... you do you. Stay safe
We all get down and struggle. And as I listen to you, I know that is exactly what I need to do is get off my behind and get outside exercise... thanks for your message and inspiration
Yannick, I've dealt with anxiety and depression for years and years, thank you for your honesty. I think men in general deal with similar feelings like yourself but they feel as men it's not cool to admit.
As a fellow Canuck, even more so. We are suppose to be so fucking nice and accommodating as Canucks, nope, we are just as fucked up as everyone else. Life is difficult no matter who u are. It's ok to admit ur faults, makes u more human and trustworthy.
You're right. Men are less likely to address issues like depression and anxiety which leads to other health issues:(. It takes courage, caring, confidence, and a great heart to admit that you're dealing with this issues. It's very beneficial to others that are going thru this to know that they're not alone Physical activity, exercise is one of the best ways that help.
Hi Yannick, this is a difficult time for all of us. I have experienced depression and it’s not fun. You are doing the right thing by getting out, getting exercise, talking it out, and appreciating our beautiful natural world! PS, I am a huge fan, and love Murdoch Mysteries!! God bless!!
Having been a Murdoch fan for years now, it's good to see the man behind the script. Such such great suggestions in these videos, and to see your smile light up your eyes, in these hard times just does me good God Bless and keep you and yours safe.
I met one of my closest friends over 20 years ago, while working in the Santa Monica Mountains - at a Salvation Army summer camp inside of Tapia Park. From what I recall...watch for rattlesnakes!! I love Murdoch Mysteries - thank you for working so hard to make quality programming! And thank you for sharing your wisdom. I think a lot of us are kind of "getting down" a bit these days - and it's good to be reminded we have options...
Keep up your spirits. I watch MM to put me in a happy place. Am up to Series 8, AGAIN. 💓💓💓 May I thank you Mr Bisson, you are a lifesaver for this Aussie🇦🇺 Stay safe to all of your family and yourself. 👌🏻👌🏻😀
Hi Yannick, thanks for sharing. I love Murdoch mysteries. I have suffered from depression on and off since i was a teen. So far i haven't found anything that improves it and I'm 49. Maybe I need to get outside more. I was always outside as a kid and loved it. Im glad you showed up on my youtube, it must know that I like you. Hope to see more from you.
Wow, what a fascinating area! I’d love to see those fossils. Getting outside is so essential; it really feeds something deep inside us. It always restores me when I’m depleted. I’ve loved Detective Murdoch since the beginning, and meeting you out of role feels like an honour. Thank you and stay well!
Looks like a great day to explore and enjoy nature. It certainly does make you feel fantastic. I sure wish you were still on hallmark you and miss teagarden were great together. I wish you well and stay safe.
I came across this quite by accident. What a salve this wonderful video with Yannick Bisson has been, relieving my boredom from self-imposed lockdown in Menindee, a small town 112-km east of Broken Hill in the far west of NSW, Australia. I have always been a fan of 'Murdoch Mysteries', which was sadly dropped by the tv network in mid-2019. Bless you, Yannick. I hope that you and your family are well.
Hey Yannick, Kia Ora from New Zealand. I know you lived here for a little while in the past. Thank you for being so real and so candid about feeling low or down. We all have days like that and it’s really helpful that you’ve not felt pressure to make a cheesy, feel good video. I love your candour and definitely, getting out there for a hearty walk or even a gentle stroll is good for the body and the soul. Bless you. Keep well. Kia Kaha.
I am a murder mystery fan and love the Murdock Mysteries, especially the interesting historical tie-ins and the social issues from the perspective of the time. But mostly I love the personalities of the characters and the humorous parts. I also loved you in the Hallmark Mystery movies and hope we'll see you in more of those.
I’ve been a Murdoch Mysteries fan for several years but have been binge watching from the beginning for a couple weeks! I know what you mean about “getting down”. I use the term “the blues”.
When I was in university, one of the people in psych services told me that “pretty much everyone in Fine Arts either has been through here or probably should be.” People who are in the arts keep their emotions right at the top - that’s what they share through their art. Whether this makes sadness/depression/being down more likely, or the reverse is something I don’t know. We just have to take care of ourselves. I’m glad you’ve found a way to balance.
Very much appreciate the real talk! Have had a lot of time to continue watching some of my favorite episodes of Murdoch! Keeps getting better. Good luck and stay safe.
Of course Yannick is right. Getting outside and into nature really helps me cope with my Clinical Depression. Being in lock down is very hard for all of us, and we are in this together! I live in Canada, and love watching the Murdoch Mysteries! I'm not sure where Yannick is, in this video, as I don't know where he lives, but that area was lovely! I wish all of you in the world well, and please stay safe! Stay home, wash your hands, and help flatten the curve! ~Janet in Canada
Thank you for your honesty and candour regarding depression. I think your suggestion to exercise is certainly a way to deal with it. Again, thank you. And by the way, I do enjoy watching Murdoch Mysteries and other films you have starred in.
Love Murdock Mysteries. So well done! Really enjoyed episodes where actors play the parts of "real" people like Mark Twain & Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. (2 of my favorite authors) look forward to many more stories. Norma Jean Morrissey R.N.
Hi, we like Murdoch Mysteries very much but my husband is a huge fan. I identify with what you are saying about being in the "doldrums" my hubby too. You are really fortunate to be able to get out. We live in Canary Islands Spain. We are in lockdown. No going out allowed except for essentials. We shall enjoy our freedom even more when we return to usual life. Stay safe and well.
So glad to note that you work on your physical and emotional health. May I respectfully suggest that you also work on your spiritual health. It will impact your physical and emotional health as well. Love you!! Thanks for the video. Be safe and well!!!
I love the serie Murdock Mysteries 😍❤️😇🙏🥰🎶🎶 I think you are awesome ! Many blessings .. hope you will cope! Stay ankered and positive in your feelings and 🤔 thinking’s enjoy your journey in natur! Namasté ❤️😍😇🙏
Thank you so much for the video. Murdoch mysteries got me through a very difficult time while in campus. Lots of love from Kenya, in East Africa. Will surely one day visit the set. For now sanitization and social distancing.
Fantastic video, what a place. I’m sure I was meant to be a geologist. Thank you Yannick for sharing such a wonderful adventure and for sharing a little of your journey. 🇦🇺
Thanks for sending your positive thoughts & feelings. Glad to hear you found a way to deal with feeling low. Please know you make others & myself feel positive & inspired. FYI: I would like to get a dog but my husband isn't in agreement. However, should I ever get a dog, I intend to call him 'Murdoch'! 😆 Take care & please continue to stay safe! 🇨🇦💪

This feels like I’m sat down talking with a good friend. You have a very kind, thoughtful energy, thank you for sharing!
Love Yannick! He seems like a normal, easy-going person in real life.

Love this show. Love the history aspect as well because my grandfather was a Toronto cop for 5 years 1900 - 1905. It’s a little limps into his life.
Handsome Man 😍 I'm watching Murdoch On the TV at the moment for the third time 😂..i love it 💞 .

I’ve been a Murdoch Mysteries fan for several years but have been binge watching from the beginning for a couple weeks! I know what you mean about “getting down”. I use the term “the blues”.
Thanks for the video. Greetings from Valencia (Spain)🤗🌷🌼🌻🌹
So glad to hear from you. Your series brings so much joy. Have fun on your trail rides and may you be blessed
I am a big fan of Murdoch Mysteries! I’ve seen all the shows once or twice!
When I was in university, one of the people in psych services told me that “pretty much everyone in Fine Arts either has been through here or probably should be.” People who are in the arts keep their emotions right at the top - that’s what they share through their art. Just started watching the show during COVID 19. Love it! Never been a fan of Canadian productions but this has me hooked 😁
Very much appreciate the real talk! Have had a lot of time to continue watching some of my favorite episodes of Murdoch! Keeps getting better. Good luck and stay safe.

He's in California, in Santa Monica. It's part of the greater Los Angeles area.
Thanks for taking a walk with me. I've been near there doing the same thing many years. Dealing with the stress and finding my way.
Enjoyed seeing you out in the world. Keep life under control and enjoy. Been watching the show for a long time and enjoy very much.
Thank you for your honesty and candour regarding depression. I think your suggestion to exercise is certainly a way to deal with it. Again, thank you. And by the way, I do enjoy watching Murdoch Mysteries and other films you have starred in.

Loved this. Very uplifting. Thanks Yannick for your honesty and candor. It helps.
Cool to see how excited he was about this. And also cool to see that he rides a bike a lot like his character of William Murdoch.
Thanks, Yannick, I enjoyed the video. Staying safe as possible in North Carolina.
What a beautiful place! Not surprised you enjoy it! Thank you sharing it. X
Thanks for sharing! That looks like a beautiful place to hike or bike.
Great video!! Great encouragement.
Murdoch mysteries one of my favourite programs. I'm from Yorkshire England.
Sempre LINDO!
So nice to see you
It helps to talk about it. We all need to talk about it when we are feeling sad. Your fans are good listeners.
Wow that is beautiful. I wish I could be hiking there too. Thank you for sharing.
So glad to note that you work on your physical and emotional health. May I respectfully suggest that you also work on your spiritual health. It will impact your physical and emotional health as well. Love you!! Thanks for the video. Be safe and well!!!
Ciao from Florence... nice and easy-going person, I like him.

Love this! Thanks for doing these!
Love from Boston!
Just....thank you!
I love rocks and stones too :) And I put small ones into my garden.
I'm daughter in law got me watching you your TV show is different at times it's alittle funny and serious and a little educational we in Alabama USA love and everyone that works on the show, you and your family stay safe looking forward to your next season
That was a great post Yannick☺️
Your sharing is a consideration for everyone with caring inside of them (you included) hope it helps in way of keeping your chin up ☺️
In my humble opinion though you may not be thought of as comedic you are a great public speaker and that is equally appreciated ☺️
First saw you in some Christmas movie, and thought “That man has some sort of unidentifiable charisma that draws you in, and his smile makes you let out a breath you hadn’t realized you’d been holding, kind of like when you see a bald eagle circling, dive down, barely touch the water, and rise up with a fish clutched in its talons.” There is something magical in that. I looked you up on IMDB, found your name, searched Netflix and found Murdoch Mysteries. Fell in love with the show. Sadly, it is no longer on Netflix.
I understand the doleful, restless nature of isolation. In this video, that charisma is still there, even when you are not “acting” with a script, and seventy-three writers. It made me feel happy, like maybe the world isn’t in as much trouble as we think, like maybe the light at the end of the tunnel isn’t a train. You may think it was a simple video you did, but you made me smile. Thanks for caring about others, and making the effort to cheer us. You totally rock!
You can find Murdock Mysteries on Acorn TV!
I so miss the show. Love all you guys, especially you.
