They enjoy the hot sun but what are the watering requirements during summer? Do they prefer dry or moist soil?

Good question. Bearded Iris prefer a well drained soil that isn’t water locked. They don’t want to sit in a puddle.

Watched quite a few of your videos, you put a lot of time and presentation into your garden and video, amazing dedication. Especially considering the fact you have a steep slope on a section of your garden.
