- Brooklyn Artist Sauce money was interviewed on The Hip Hop Uncensored Podcast about Desiree Perez, Rocnation CEO, and her shady past. According to reports, Juan Perez's wife became a cooperating witness for DEA in the 1990s. Perez was arrested in 1994 for 35 kilos cocaine possession. She agreed to wear hidden wires to record the meetings she had with major drug traffickers. Federal prosecutors praised Perez's undercover work as an informant after she helped to end major drug deals in Puerto Rico, Colombia and other countries. Donald Trump recently pardoned Desiree Perez. "President Trump granted full pardon to Desiree Peez," reads the relevant section in the Statement from The Press Secretary Regarding Executive Grants. Ms. Perez was part of a conspiracy to distribute drugs. Perez was convicted and has since taken full responsibility for her actions. She is now a successful entrepreneur and a strong advocate for criminal justice reform within her community.
