- On Saturday, September 14th, 2024 The City of Walnut Creek held a celebration for Gold Medalist Amit Elor at Civic Park in Walnut Creek. She won the gold medal in women's wrestling at the Olympics in Paris last month. New anchor Dan Ashley from KGO 7 News was the master of ceremonies.
