Welcome back to Chennai Naveen Kumar. Hyderabad Chennai express is a very old train. In fact during 1960, 1970 's it used to go via Kazipet, Warangal Vijayawada and Chennai. I have travelled in this train in 1968, 1969,1972 and 1974. AFTER intoduction of Charminar Express the Railways must have changed the route of Hyd Chennai exp. Special thanks for covering all important stations in this Route. In your Intro you said that Charminar Exp is likely to be extended upto Nagercoil, in that case the running time of Charminar Exp will also increase. Thanks for showing us crossings of 3 trains. This Guntur - Nalgonda route is shortest route to Reach Hyderabad when compared to Vijayawada - warangal route. Actually bus also go by this route only chennai - nellore- ongole - medarametla- nadikudi- miryalaguda- nalgonda and reach Hyderabad by road.

Where as chennai express this train is in the shortest route via nalgonda thats why its most demanded train.
And its alway best to take this train compared to others and it has rank sharing with erode express.
Bro , actually indha train after june , till charlapally varaikum thaan operate agum nu oru news iruku. Because charlapally is the new terminal for trains which are mostly ending its trip in secunderabad and Hyderabad stations.

Thank Naveen Bro for covering this train. Brief history. When I was in Hyderabad, Nalconda was a terminal station, which mainly serves to transport paddy and rice by train. No track from Nalconda to Nadikude. Nadikude was a small station on Guntur Macherla Meter gauge section. During 80s, new BG line was laid between Nalconda to Nadikude to relieve Kazipet as it was saturated. This new line also served Raasi cement factory at Vishnupuram. Macherla Guntur section was converted to BG thereby Nadikude became Junction. This was major achievement by SCR during that time. Initially Sabari express, narasapur express and this train were diverted. Later more new trains were introduced

Long awaited train. I was frequently travelling in this train from Hyderabad to Chennai. My favorite train. This train has never been late and it's more punctual than Charminar express. May be because of a rare case this train was delayed for you.
Since I am from Chennai and work in Hyderabad, I use this train most preferably, mostly reaches Chennai on time or slight delay compared to other 2 trains
Secunderabad 2 years before I went with my family in Hyderabad Express. It was a memorable tour in my life. Once again I enjoyed with this vlog

Charminar Exp is the worst train especially in the return journey min delay will be more than one hour to three hours some times... If you calculate till secbad this hyd Exp will reach almost in 12 hours.... And it is the best train to Hyd and last preference will be given to charminar exp.. So always prefer this train 12604/12603 in both the directions
