Hi, it's based off a doc called Hotel Coolgardie. I feel like they wanted to make it as close to what happened. I enjoyed it, but after hearing your reviews. It has the potential of a good horror movie. Love your work

Having secured a role in this film. I’m so looking forward to its Australian premiere in October! 😊

The fact that you do not understand is the reason why this movie was made. I encourage you to invite females to your show to discussion this movie and get some perspective.

I really enjoyed Julia Garner, Jessica Henwick, and Hugo Weaving's performances in this one

"You're always waiting for something to happen but then nothing does."
A woman in this film is abducted by a group of men while she is intoxicated -- after their first attempt fails. Her friend tries to intervene with an axe and ends up injured herself. She finally bites one of the men in order to get free.
And you're disappointed that "nothing happened." "Her life wasn't really at risk."???
The low-grade danger this film effectively imparts -- the near-constant need to threat-assess, the waiting to see if this man is going to actually pounce and assault you, the trying to identify which men are just clueless and which ones are predators...trying to constantly find the balance between trying to stay safe and not coming off as an uptight bitch.
It seems you really did not get that THAT is the point.
"There are moments of uneasiness and this feeling that things could get out of control...but it never gets there."
"You're constantly on the edge of your seat."
    Welcome to the female experience.
But you guys seem to think the relevant question for discussion is...what this film made you think about whether you want to visit Australia?!?
    Cool.

It`s a film mate. I`m a 61 yr old Aussie and never been bitten by a snake or taken by a croc. So far

You wouldn’t know what a good movie is, if it bit you in the butt.

The ignorance about Australia from some of the guys in this video is laughable. I’ve lived in Australia for over 30 years and never seen a snake in my life. It’s like assuming everyone in Canada sees grizzly bears every day on their way to work.

The look of the dimly lit film was annoying and unimpressive. Part of it may have been due to a subpar theatre screen but I had difficulty seeing what was going on, seeing faces, etc

You act as if nothing in the movie actually happened.
A drunk woman legally is unable to give consent, and two men broke down two doors to get to Liv.
Liv was held against her will and had to bite the guy to let go of her.
Not to mention they attempted to kidnap Liv earlier.
What in the world do you mean, nothing happened?
You’re literally one of the creepy men in the movie, completely oblivious to what’s in front of your face. It’s hilarious.
You’re entitled to your opinion of the merits of the movie, but the way you justify your opinion of “nothing happened” is just bizarre, and single-handedly proves how badly needed this movie actually is.
