Went to France last August and was so enamored of being on Omaha and Utah beaches. I tried to imagine what it was like for those guys as they ran into certain death for the liberation of Europe. I gave a salute and my appreciation to them. Also, this is an awesome diorama.
I agree. However. There is a lot to say about making figures from a model infantry kit meticulously painting and figuring how you want to position it. I have a ton of respect for people that can turn an average infantry soldier into a wounded blood soaked casualty. Something I never mastered. But it was fun trying nonetheless.
