Kimmich at 40m and with his salary over 4 years will be 96million. He will still be cheaper than Bruno G. There are only 2 positions that we do not have cover for, Rodri and Stones role. Kimmich could cover both as well as RB and 8. With Stones being so injury prone we need someone to cover for him so that we can play KDB and Foden together in midfield. Kimmich would be perfect because he could do the Stones and Lewis role at RB. He could also play as a 6 and double pivot 6/8 like Gundo. We could have him for 4 years
Bare minimum if we want to retain the league and possibly reach the CL Final? Sign two wingers and a midfielder. My dream scenario is two wingers, two midfielders and a fullback, thats not gonna happen so

One thing people should remember is that England tax players wages 11% less than Germany. This means you can already take 30k off a 300k wage if a player is coming from Germany to England.

Also, it's clear teams are waiting for the post-June 30 timeline and the Euros/Copa to start winding down, isn't it? And City prob need to get some big wages off the books. If we didn’t have Nunes, I wouldn’t mind Olmo. But tbh considering he’s injury record he shouldn’t be a priority for us. And also Matheus Nunes isn’t necessary to have in our squad imo. We firstly should be prioritizing a proper cover for Rodri. And only then we can worry about other signings.
Anybody who thinks Bruno G is a good player should watch him playing against Liverpool. He is not good when being pressed. He lacks control in tight spaces and loses the ball far too often. He is also anonymous when playing against Man City.
@@kattphatt Like I said, go watch him against Liverpool or Arsenal, teams that press high and you will see that he is not good under pressure. I read somewhere that being dispossessed is a real weakness of his game. This just backs up the eye test which led me to this conclusion. We shouldn't consider him because we don't need him.

So why do we need another one? If Stones gets injured we have to play Kovacic alongside Rodri because none of the other defenders can invert to make up numbers in the midfield. If this happens, we must sacrifice either KDB or Foden in midfield. Is this what you want? Do you really want Bruno G playing ahead of Foden or KDB in midfield as an 8? What we need is someone who can play the John Stones role when he is injured and also replace Rodri. We need someone who can play right-back. when Walker needs a rest. Kimmich serves all these roles. He played as a CB at Bayern under Pep. He is able to Play RB and can play 6 and 8.
