There is very little difference in either discipline alas there are plenty of fools like Johnathon in both disciplines who are outside the catch rate percentage and fish concrete bowls and therefore lack in natural food items
Hi,Well I believe there are 3x better carp lakes in Kent let alone the country.Wingham Carp LakeWingham Main LakeSutton-at-HoneIn the country (and genuinely just of the top of my head)WellyManorDintonSavayFramptonBayeswaterCleverleyBrackenRHF Island LakeMill LaneBig GrangeFen DraytonWasingSo there are 16 without thinking about it or listing contentious lakes with stacks of big fish but offer little else.I'm not trying to knock Chilham, it's a nice lake..........just not as good as made out in the video.Fish are not that nice looking, very swimmy lake, very restricted fishing times, stacks of rules that are not needed if you vet members correctly, and for a grand a bit pricey. But for the Kent guys there really isn't too much to choose from.Looking forward to your other films on carp lakes, very well made even if the narrative is a tad bias. All the best.
Well said mate, yes its a nice lake but I certainly wouldnt pay a grand even if I had the money, Id fork out a little more and get straight up to Wingham
Sessioned the Mill back in 2002 for a few years when it was only a few hundred quid with MKF, what a tremendous lake, so many epic sessions!
Really enjoyed that, fascinating insight. Wish I could fish at a place as stunning as that.
+Darryl Clarkson thanks Darryl - get your name on the waiting list for Chilham, and you can!

Thanks Dave - some good lakes there for sure! As time goes on, we'll be hitting more and more fisheries, and looking at other styles too.
