Globalization has been a powerful force in shaping modern human history.
The world economy has become increasingly connected and interdependent over recent decades, and conventional wisdom suggests that this will only continue in the years ahead.
But while it’s tempting to extrapolate the past effects of globalization into the future, such a leap may also be a mistake. That’s because there is growing evidence that globalization itself is quietly transforming - and how it ultimately evolves may be markedly different from what most business leaders might expect.
    *How globalization is changing.
    1) A smaller share of goods is traded across borders.
    2) Services trade is growing 60% faster than goods trade.
    3) Labour-cost arbitrage has become less important.
    4) R&D and innovation are becoming increasingly important.
    5) Trade is becoming concentrated within regions.

Globalisation is the process by which the world is becoming increasingly inter-connected as a result of massively increased trade and cultural exchange
Globalisation has increased the production of goods and services. The biggest companies are no longer national ferms but multinational corporations. Globalisation has been taking place for hundreds of years, but has speeded up enormously over the last half century.
Globalisation has resulted in: Increased International Trade
2: A company operating in more than one country
3: Greater dependence on the global economy
4: Freer movement of capital, goods and services
5: The recognition of companies such as Mc Donald and Starbucks in LEDCs
Although globalisation is probably helping create more wealth in developing countries,it is not helping to close the gap between the world's poorest countries and the world's richest.
Thank uh ma'am for explaining the topic so well.

Globalization into three major areas: economic , cultural , and political globalization.
Globalization means the speedup of movements and exchanges (of human beings, goods, and services, capital, technologies or cultural practices) all over the planet. One of the effects of globalization is that it promotes and increases interactions between different regions and populations around the globe.
The most important course of globalization differ among the three major components of international market integration: trade, multinational production, and international finance.

    1. Globalisation means the flows of ideas, capital, commodities and people across different parts of the world.
    2. It is a multidimensional concept. It has political, economic and cultural manifestations and these must be adequately distinguished.
3.As a concept, globalisation fundamentally deals with flows. These flows can be ideas moving from one part of the world to another, commodities being traded across borders and so on.
    4. The crucial element is the worldwide inter connectedness which is created and sustained as a consequence of these constant flows.

Globalization, as it is known in some parts of the world, is driven by the convergence of cultural and economic systems. This convergence promotes -- and in some cases necessitates -- increased interaction, integration and interdependence among nations. The more countries and regions of the world become intertwined politically, culturally and economically, the more globalized the world becomes.

Globalization is a process of interaction and integration of people, businesses, and governments from other countries, helped by information technology and pushed by international commerce and investment. Because this process is multi-dimensional and global in scope, it has an impact on the environment, culture, political systems, economic development and prosperity, and human physical well-being in societies all over the world. Globalization, as an ideology and a process, has become the dominating political, economic, and cultural force in the twenty-first century, having a considerable impact on the role of the state. There are three main classifications of globalisation for the A-level politics student: political, social and economic.
    Political globalisation
Political globalisation refers to the amount of political co-operation that exists between different countries.
This ties in with the belief that “umbrella” global organisations are better placed than individual states to prevent conflict. The League of Nations established after WW1 was certainly one of the pioneers in this. Since then, global organisations such as the World Trade Organisation (WTO), United Nations (UN), and more regional organisations such as the EU have helped to increase the degree of political globalisation.
    Social globalisation
Social globalisation refers to the sharing of ideas and information between and through different countries.
In today’s world, the Internet and social media is at the heart of this. Good examples of social globalisation could include internationally popular films, books and TV series. The Harry Potter/ Twilight films and books have been successful all over the world, making the characters featured globally recognisable. However, this cultural flow tends to flow from the centre (i.e. from developed countries such as the USA to less developed countries). Social globalisation is often criticised for eroding cultural differences.
    Economic globalisation
Economic globalisation refers to the interconnectedness of economies through trade and the exchange of resources.
Effectively, therefore, no national economy really operates in isolation, which means national economies influence each other. This is clearly evidenced by global recession from 2007 onwards. Economic globalisation also means that there is a two-way structure for technologies and resources. For example countries like the USA will sell their technologies to countries, which lack these, and natural resources from developing countries are sold to the developed countries that need them.

Countries have built economic partnerships to facilitate these movements over many centuries. But the term gained popularity after the Cold War in the early 1990s, as these cooperative arrangements shaped modern everyday life. This guide uses the term more narrowly to refer to international trade and some of the investment flows among advanced economies, mostly focusing on the United States.
The wide-ranging effects of globalization are complex and politically charged. As with major technological advances, globalization benefits society as a whole, while harming certain groups. Understanding the relative costs and benefits can pave the way for alleviating problems while sustaining the wider payoffs.

Today, Globalization is the need of every nation to sustain its core values and maintain economy. Globalization reflects the very idea of human civilization that man is a social animal and therefore requires collaboration and communities. Globalization need to encompass broader ideas under the umbrella and also advocate for issues the world is grappling with like poverty, education, health and human rights.

Though many scholars place the origins of globalization in modern times, others trace its history to long before the European Age of Discovery and voyages to the New World, and some even to the third millennium BC.[6] The term globalization first appeared in the early 20th century (supplanting an earlier French term mondialization), developed its current meaning some time in the second half of the 20th century, and came into popular use in the 1990s.[7] Large-scale globalization began in the 1820s, and in the late 19th century and early 20th century drove a rapid expansion in the connectivity of the world's economies and cultures.[8]
In 2000, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) identified four basic aspects of globalization: trade and transactions, capital and investment movements, migration and movement of people, and the dissemination of knowledge.[9] Environmental challenges such as global warming, cross-boundary water and air pollution, and over-fishing have been linked to globalization.[10] Globalizing processes affect and are affected by business and work organization, economics, sociocultural resources, and the natural environment. Academic literature commonly divides globalization into three major areas: economic globalization, cultural globalization, and political globalization.[11]

Globalization, or globalisation (Commonwealth English; see spelling differences), is the process of interaction and integration among people, companies, and governments worldwide. Globalization has accelerated since the 18th century due to advances in transportation and communication technology. This increase in global interactions has caused a growth in international trade and the exchange of ideas and culture. Globalization is primarily an economic process of interaction and integration that is associated with social and cultural aspects. However, disputes and diplomacy are also large parts of the history of globalization, and of modern globalization.
Economically, globalization involves goods, services, data, technology, and the economic resources of capital.[1] The expansion of global markets liberalizes the economic activities of the exchange of goods and funds. Removal of cross-border trade barriers has made the formation of global markets more feasible.[2] Advances in transportation, like the steam locomotive, steamship, jet engine, and container ships, and developments in telecommunication infrastructure, like the telegraph, Internet, and mobile phones, have been major factors in globalization and have generated further interdependence of economic and cultural activities around the globe.[3][4][5]

Globalization no longer necessarily requires a business to own or have a physical presence in terms of either owning production plants or land in other countries, or even exports and imports. Many businesses use licensing and franchising to help expand their overseas operations.

☑️ *GLOBALISATION is the process of interaction and integration among people, companies, and governments worldwide.*
Globalization has accelerated since the 18th century due to advances in transportation and communication technology. This increase in global interactions has caused a growth in international trade and the exchange of ideas, beliefs, and culture. Globalization is primarily an economic process of interaction and integration that is associated with social and cultural aspects. However, disputes and diplomacy are also large parts of the history of globalization, and of modern globalization.
    *THANKYOU MA’AM :) *

🌈Globalization is the word used to describe the growing interdependence of the world’s economies, cultures, and populations, brought about by cross-border trade in goods and services, technology, and flows of investment, people, and information. Countries have built economic partnerships to facilitate these movements over many centuries. But the term gained popularity after the Cold War in the early 1990s, as these cooperative arrangements shaped modern everyday life.
🌈This guide uses the term more narrowly to refer to international trade and some of the investment flows among advanced economies, mostly focusing on the United States

Globalization represents an unavoidable phenomenon in the history of mankind, which is making the world smaller and smaller by increasing the exchange of goods, services, information, knowledge and cultures between different countries. ... It is important for us to benefit from globalization.

Globalization means the speedup of movements and exchanges (of human beings, goods, and services, capital, technologies or cultural practices) all over the planet. One of the effects of globalization is that it promotes and increases interactions between different regions and populations around the globe.
