- The village of Preodac is located in the municipality of Bosansko Grahovo.
The village is located under Mount Shator, on its northern side. The altitude of the village is 860 m, so it can be said that Preodac is located on Šator mountain.
It lies on the border of the municipalities of Bosansko Grahovo, Glamoč and Drvar. In the past, in the eighties of the twentieth century, Preodac was declared among the most beautiful villages in Europe. There were over 300 sources of drinking water, today there are fewer of them. Brzica stream emerges below Babina Greda, and Mlin below Vranjuša. They meet with each other and with the stream Karlica and then get the name Šator. When leaving the village, it is called Pojilo, because in the past, cattle from several villages were watered there. Further downstream it is called Shator again, until it receives the name Unac.
Unfortunately, the remains of the medieval Momčil tower have not been explored, so only assumptions can be made about the time of construction. What is absolutely certain is that it is a monumental building that could have been built as such by one of the Bosnian rulers or his close relative. In the last war, it was almost destroyed in the war. The village now has no signposts, school, post office, cultural center, or pensioner's home. The Church of the Holy Trinity was also devastated in 1995. Of the pre-war population of 400, only about thirty have returned to the village so far.
