May that's just a phrase and he didn't mean anything. Yep, Mr sunder might have atleast 30-40 crores in his trading accounts, and not to mention the bank accounts. Such a great inspirational personality.

One additional advantage of GILT funds: You can pledge it for cash equivalent portion of margin. You can get about 90-93% margin, which you can use for margin based trading.

For long term FDs, even if you are not receiving the interest payout with in the year, you have to pay income tax for that interest not received apart from the deduction by the bank. If you are trying to compound your FD year by year..take note....it is better to take the interest payout and pay income tax rather than paying it out of pocket and raise a new FD. Missing to pay on time also incurs paying penalties at the time of IT submission. The compounding and actual interest % will be affected if you thinking of FD compounding. So be careful for long term FDs more than 1 yr.

Mr. Sundar and his fans.. please note his mistake.... if you see those MF holding majority of them are 7.18% interest bonds holdings and few 8.1% bonds also there... if you average it.. it will not give you more than 7.25%..
Instead of this you can invest in post office NSC. @7.7% coupon...or 7.4% MIS... what is your view in this Mr. Sundar

Since everybody knows rates are going to go down, bond coupons would already be lower than FD rates adjusting for expected increase in bond prices.

    Hello Sir,
As Interest rates are suppose to go down in coming month/year so it's not better to sell put then call in TLT as interest rate goes down price will go up so and price going up probability is higher then lower.
Sir correct me if I am wrong.
