He sounds like me when I'm singing to songs I don't really know the lyrics to.
Yeah, he always seems way too high to be performing and I don't know if it's his thing to switch lyrics around during live performances but he defiantly isn't using the lyrics from the album cuts.
james bond stop commenting all over the place about how you feel towards his singing lmao go away
Stop defending obviously terrible performances because you're blinded by your fanboy status.
pretty sure you gotta think they sing good to be a fanboy
I definitely think you're one of those people who can't spell definitely.
Bands used to play exactly what they wanted to play. Wrote songs exactly the way they wanted to write songs. Not for airplay. Because they had a passion within them. An art. If the airplay came as a result of their art then so be it. Broncho is crafting songs exactly the way they want to. Playing music exactly the way they want to. If you are buying U2's 278'th song I fully understand that. If the 278'th time the radio plays Taylor Swift's songs you dig them I understand that. Broncho is playing exactly what they want to play. Some of us fully appreciate that.
Scott, your comment is nice. Love the Band. I'm really hoping they are making a 4th album. I don't even know what style they would make it.
Rock n roll at its finest, no wonder they can back up Billy Idol! Insane!
@@Admiralex91 I just saw them in OKC on June 18, 2022 and they didn't play any new material :( Lots of fun, though. I hope all of you can see them play.
@@koomo801 I saw them in Mainz, Germany. The have the swag. :D
I love this band for their unique vocals, his voice is really the main why they're one of my favorite bands. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this.
I fucking swear Class Historian is the catchiest and most upbeat song ever.
They just woke up and rolled out of bed.
Their sound is just so yeah, rocks me out and feels fresh and free and dirty, i like it. makes me dance, and theres the tiniest similiarity to the 80's Cars... in the best way possible and it rules.
Broncho is really a great band. Ive seen them live twice and they were really nice and played really well. I also really enjoy Cheryl Waters. She is always such a great host and is so supportive of the art of music and sound.Thank you KEXP.Thank you Broncho..the new tunes sound great. Maybe Ill see you in AZ somewhere soon.
antimatter13 Couldn't agree more with everything.
+antimatter13 I also enjoy Cheryl. KEXP in general rocks. Love these videos
Just saw them in Phx a few weeks ago, friggin great as usual.
this is rock n roll, this is we slept on someone's living room floor last night rock n roll. this is real rock n roll.
"don't know why they it so hard for people to share ART"...
Because ART is POWER!!
I like this guy. No small talk just play the damn tracks.
I must say this about Broncho: these people are just as nice and wonderful as they seem. Just had a drink with Ryan, he is a great human being. Accept them as they are. The real deal...
i LOVE the guitar on their new album its awesome for deep thinking. Gives me goosebumps.
I was looking for a silent film from 1920 called The Broncho Kid and I ended up here. Sounds much better than that movie for sure. Instant fan!
I've been obsessed with this band for 4 years now, and I don't see me letting up anytime soon. Perfect mix of Jesus and Mary Chain and Sonic Youth.
Fantastic drummer!!
Gotta love seeing Broncho back @ KEXP! Had the joy of meeting them in Omaha. Class act I say!
I chilled with these dudes at a show in Boston a few months back. Broncho is the shiz.
Just recently started listening to this band. saw them on last call and I'm hooked. not usually my taste or style. would love to see them here in Richmond Va. the national would be awesome !
BRONCHO aka Homeless Tom Cruise and the Gang. (That's a compliment.)
MIKE MA mike! Love your book
@@nateroma5256 thank you nate!
Hard working band. I love Broncho!
Why havent these guys blown up after their last album. It's really good.
favorite performance at FYF. so much funnnnn
+sashabobosha I agree they were so good at FYF
sash their FYF show is the reason I'm a fan

I am hopelessly in love with the lead guitarist boy 🥺

we like storms
interesting vocal style, really good band. sound dope live, good tones and good vibes.
Bravissimi. I've been told they were here in Italy last hear.
Awesome performance broncos! So hook us up
F**king love Broncho!!!! They really Dolly my Parton!!!
i saw them live at crucialfest slc they have such a badass groove & they can really get a crowd going. broncho is fucking tight
very nice band!
Awesome
hes high as HELL !!
john munker yeah? You should see FIDLAR on KEXP...
Ryan, it is your cousin Adam Crider. Glad to see you are doing great and paying tribute to my Alma mater the UCO Bronchos!
great
WHY AREN'T YOU GUYS WORLD FAMOUS?
Holly freaking good taste in instruments
Must say refreshing - never heard anything like this. Second song really good. A bit Euro - so glad to witness this diversion from normal. Hot chick too. Wish I were young again. Following their passion for sure.
Class Historian is a top tune
Broncho has a great live performance, even when Ryan's drunk off his ass. It's hard to hear the lyrics sometimes but that's just how they are, guitars are clear as water though it's some real quality stuff from a small band. Gotta love it.
We want motorama!
First! Also I've never heard this band, they are awesome
Really got me thinking, that you're the other unfortunate one.
"we like storms....." hahahah
Мы с моим boy next door любим Broncho
Taj Mahal was my least favorite initially but now I just cant resist the grime - shit is pure filth
At first I thought he was saying .. "touch my hole"
We like storms
Stay Loose
Class Historian a song that could be on Wet Hot American Summer sountrack. FOR SURE.
Babes / babes.
I can hear some of their influences, but overall, they are highly original and unique. The closest I can hear is The Jesus And Mary Chain, but only on a few tracks. Either way, I love them.
8 FUCKING YEARS?????!!!!
What model of Gretsch bass is that? an old one?
nice sound....but i can't understand what he sing! he doesn't spell the words
indie music Yeah, kinda mumbly.
You try and say do do do 50 times
Non Pondo you can mumble do and not fk it up. Thing they're talkin' bout the rest. : p
Lead guitar uses Organizer pedal?
Pixies/Werner hybrid ! Cool music!
Great to see the homeless take to instruments
lmao!
LOL awesome comment xD
Hahahahaha
Hahaha
:)
i love the duffy duck voice....
he provoked me at 5:35
maybe they have sold 10 records !!
What good drink ??
I'll rate them 5 hipster stars out of 5.
The band-mates look different from the music videos
Huey Morgan brought me here
Se habla español
the jesus and mary chain called. they want their schtick back.
I was excited for this performance because their albums are great, but man do they really sound like this live? The singing I mean... Wtf is this karaoke?
he has to open up his mouth to sing
Is their name really pronounced with a "ch" like chalk?
yes. it is. I asked penny the other night when they played. I was curious myself.
nononono
I defy anyone who reads this to write down every lyric as sung.
why so serious? haha
So far I'm not into these guys at all. But could definitely end up being one of those things that grow on me. I hope not though haha.
Penny Hill.
very hard to watch the mumbling ! hahahaha!!
Why.
i like them but the singer puts on his voice a little to much.
definitely influenced by The Jesus and Mary chain.
too bad they hate playing music because it sounds really good
How so? They tour constantly and play pretty long, intense shows.
Doug Tull those faces say "im sticking my head in an oven as soon as i find an oven"
That's just the way Ryan is. He's very wry and kind of shy. Also, they're probably dead tired. They are driving hundreds of miles every night to get to next gig in a van, eating bad food and probably partying to hard some nights. LOL.
3 hipstr 5 me
When I saw these guys at FFF Fest the lead singer in between songs talks like he sings. Really annoying.
Weezer
I have really taken a liken to this band but this performance was not great :/
People talk about mumble rap these days, but have y’all heard mumble rock? 😂💀
I've never seen a live performance where the singer wasn't obviously too high for it. Like, am I the only one seeing this shit? I know more of his lyrics than he seems to.
Yea man but theres professionalism isnt there? Maybe if he put in some more consistent performances they would be where they are supposed to be, because they are brilliant.
I don't think its drugs btw I think its him just doing some weird shit IE having a go at what he feels like. He needs some goals. Needs to know where he wants to be.
I dno man, this performance has good and bad elements imo. For instance stop tricking sounds almost like it does on the album, its melodic and full of feeling-a good performance. I haven't seen them live (much as I'd like to) and I've seen lots of live shows on youtube where he just sings whatever.
They dont have to be 'picture perfect' they aren't pop. They don't need a squeaky clean image. They just need to be representative of what they are. It seems perhaps self defeating the way he sings. If I saw them live and he was mumbling and gurlging, I'd be pissed. Okay so you cant recreate the energy on the album everytime. But at least give the audience the show they deserve.
I don't think you get music. Music is about self expression so you can pretty much do whatever you want. If you don't like it, make your own music instead of bitching about his?
Not all music is about self expression. Is an advertising jingle made to express a musicians feelings? Or is it to compliment the product that they have been contracted to help sell? In it's purest form perhaps music is about self expression, but what about when you enter a sphere that requires different responsibilities, such as being in the public eye. Do you not have a 'duty' to give the fans what they paid for? Or do you think it is ok in that instance to intentionally ruin expectations by bombing a show?
Why do you edit everything you write Jim? Who's really concerned about image? Or do you just have no confidence in what you type?
What a homeless band! And dont forget yo look at guy with 2nd guitar
Noooo broncho!!! What a fucking disappointment
jesus fucking christ, this made me change my mind about auto-tune... Give this poor band a bath and bring them to detox. Clearly heroin is a hell of a drug.
Weak vocals tbh. His vocals are off 90% on this
Does the drummer ever look up?
What a miserable bunch.
vocals are horrible ! lol.. just mumble!! lol...
Good approach really
Great band but his live voice is awful
