Tonight Margie Beaton guides us through the journey that led to her becoming Head of the Gaelic & Historical Society in Cape Breton, Canada. Margie left the Hebrides behind many years ago to teach gaelic to the people of Nova Scotia, and she quickly fell in love with the Scottish community, which reminded her so much of the home she left behind. She might live across the pond from her motherland, but she works passionately every day to promote the traditional gaelic tap dance, ceilidh, craft, history, music and much more.
