Every single one of them had had real happiness and a soul mate in one of the timelines, whilst five remained a homeless timeline refugee and spent many lonely lives trying to save everyone. I'm glad he had a tiny bit happiness before the end. It's not ideal and he deserves much more, but it's better than nothing. And she clearly would choose him if she hadn't already had a family, that's what matters.
I believe she only went back for her kids, and in her heart she chooses five. She never really mentions Diego when she decides to leave the strawberry house, just her children.
Love them. And I admire the director and writers for doing their job despite the possibility of fans not agreeing. I've seen television series ruined in an attempt to please fans. Social media is sometimes a resource for actors or shows, but on the other hand it was much better when we weren't allowed to say what we wanted from a story we're not writing but simply reading or watching
I saw this one comment on another video but it’s really cool. Cause it mentioned how Diego and Lila’s relationship was mostly just passion. They were two passionate people. You can see that Lila just rarely lets Diego see her being weak and even then it’s just for a second. And any scene with those two, it’s just passion. You can see it when they talk to each other or when they kiss. With Five, it’s different. Lila is able to be completely show weakness around Five. They are both broken people who understand each other. And you can see they have a sweet, soft relationship that’s built off the trust that they can be weak with each other. Like you can see that their kisses aren’t like Diego and Lila’s. No, it is soft and slow and gentle. That’s the difference. And I love Five and Lila together, just wish we could have more.

I love this storyline bc it leaves an opportunity for a spinoff to show the audience what happened during the 7 years they were searching 🤞🤞 I truly hope the creators of TUA will make this happen! The cast of actors and their characters are too good to let this show end the way it did ❤

I've been thinking something, that Five will find that notebook with the answer to return home, it's just theory but, what if that notebook belonged to a Five who managed to live a life with Lila in that place, but upon finding the answer to return to their world, Five and Lila decided that it would be better for their past versions to be the ones to return and not them. And who knows, maybe they managed to have children and start a family in that timeline where they stayed together.
Actually, I thought of that, too. Because this wasn't explained properly (well, like a lot of other things) but it would make sense that they could have been versions of them that had lived a happy life together. It's a nice theory.

Tbh, judging by her expressions and reactions in various scenes afterwards, it looked like she wasn’t being honest in that moment because she was relieved when Five came back (more so than just, ‘being family’/caring for him) and the handhold at the very end…🥺
People who say Five wouldn't settle down forget that not a season or so ago he literally said he didn't love being in apocalypses he just wanted to retire. And those who say Lila wouldn't settle down, she literally faked a kid to see how Diego would be as a father. She wanted kids. Their married/family life just left much to be desired and they fell apart. Lila and Five just get each other in a way no one else did. But i understand why its a little freaky from actor/character age perspective.
Five this season is waaayyy too far from earlier seasons. He spent most of his waking hours trying to survive, save the world, save his family, and save others. Despite all those betrayal and stuff, I'm just glad that despite all those temptation of living in peace and living with the one he loves for the rest of time, he still chose to do the right thing to do. Others might've burned the manual and keep Lila imprisoned in that fantasy. Although I would still preferred for them to introduce a new character to be Five's love interest, a version of him perhaps from another timeline will do. All in all, the ending was a bitter-sweet one, kinda like Game of Thrones.

Diego x Lila is great but Five x Lila is life. I'm gonna say it right here and right now though. Lila loved Diego the way Five deserved to be loved. She returned to him and sort of left Five behind. Five loved her so much. He became a totally new person around her.
I think they just didn't have time to fully resolve it (which is a real shame). But I don't think Lila's behavior was like "I'm back with Diego, Five is over"...she was disappointed that he didn't tell her the truth sooner, but it certainly didn't change the fact that she loved him and wasn't comfortable with Diego anymore.

Five is more handsome ❤️ I think that in this new timeline in which he spent 6 years living in society with other people, he recovered his humanity I liked Five this season, he is calmer, more relaxed and even more human, he has evolved emotionally. Took me a minute to remember what Cinco meant. ( I know like the bare minimum of Spanish, enough to say my name, ask how you are and say “bathroom” ) and can count to 6 in Spanish. Unfortunately I had to drop out of Spanish class.
I think 5 the character and Lila make sense, but as 33 yr old woman myself. I would feel VERY uncomfortable kissing a boy that age. Aiden plays an old man VERY well and he has a beautiful, oddly magnetic smile, but it is still awkward. Rita is 35, meaning she was probably my age maybe a yr younger when they filmed this. It’s just odd, if the genders were reversed people would freak out. That being said I can’t deny they do obviously share a connection and understand each other in a way like no one else, they both spent a lot of time being brainwashed by the.. I forget the name of the big corporation led by the Handler, anyway they both spent a large amount of time, having to be on defense, never letting the guard down, never being able to TRULY be vulnerable with anyone. They were assassins/ secret agents in some capacity. And we’re always in dangerous situations. So I can see them understanding each other more than the rest, and they can match each others wit. And both are capable of “incapacitating” the other one. And there’s a comfort in knowing you are a match aka- they can’t take you out without you being able to hold your own, so you aren’t helpless. Idk but the age difference in real life is so…. Gross
I'm a year younger than Ritu and I'll admit that while I love them and I love the story, I also feel a little strange about the age difference. It's maybe a little uncomfortable, compared to normal, but it doesn't really change how well they did their job for me.

I can’t explain it, it’s just like you can look at some one and say “oh they are handsome or in case of a girl beautiful but still not see them in that way, you know?” . I haven’t seen a whole lot of the scenes of them with dialogue this season, just clips of montages people put together of them for the 7 yrs, even so I think my favorite ones are the greenhouse ones( how did they end up there?, I thought they were in a bus station? anyway those scenes you can really see the love and affection they have for each other even without dialogue, that really shows their acting chops. I think even after she went back to Diego she still loved Five, but Family is important to her and she didn’t want to have a divided family. Someone commented that Diego and Lila’s relationship was built on passion whether that was aggression or straight up making out. I thought that made sense. Her and Fives was different, even when fighting they opened up about their experiences at the commission. also it’s like Covid quarantine, people got into relationships and it was great when in their bubble but outside that bubble when real life resumed, it couldn’t survive. Side note, when Diego’s daughter corrected his spelling when he was trying to be discreet, was hilarious. I haven’t watched the series because I have an addictive personality even with tv shows and movies and I will lock onto actors and actresses and be like “oh their amazing( I saw misfits and this happened with Robert) so I looked into every single thing he worked on and every interview he was in just to see his face and yea, eventually i realized it probably wasn’t a good idea to watch too much tv shows straight on. I do watch some just not in the fantasy genre which is my favorite 🤷🏻♀️now I catch up with shows I KNOW are in my favorite genre or I know I’ll like, by UA-cam clips and media coverage. You can oddly enough pick up on alot that way. And it keeps me from going down a rabbit hole at 2am.. okay I do that with the storyline but not the individual actors which is much better and safer. That’s why I asked how they got to the greeenhouse, I can’t find any clips of that, it’s just a montage and all of a sudden they are above ground and not in a subway,

Five then suggests they settle in one of the timelines, where they stumble upon a greenhouse with strawberries. That after all these years they deserve a rest, bed, shower and all. And Lila agrees, just for a short time. And hopes that doesn't mean they're giving up. They've been living together for seven months in relationship. In between, he finds the diary where the way back, but he doesn't tell Lila about it because he wants to be with her. He only admits it to her when she gives him a present "for their seventh anniversary" of them being lost in time.

@@B.WildeVideos agreed. I mean I’ll admit Aiden is a good looking boy but .. no, but like no.. gross. I can’t explain it, it’s just like you can look at some one and say “oh they are handsome or in case of a girl beautiful but still not see them in that way, you know?” . I haven’t seen a whole lot of the scenes of them with dialogue this season, just clips of montages people put together of them for the 7 yrs, even so I think my favorite ones are the greenhouse ones( how did they end up there?, I thought they were in a bus station? anyway those scenes you can really see the love and affection they have for each other even without dialogue, that really shows their acting chops. I think even after she went back to Diego she still loved Five, but Family is important to her and she didn’t want to have a divided family. Someone commented that Diego and Lila’s relationship was built on passion whether that was aggression or straight up making out. I thought that made sense. Her and Fives was different, even when fighting they opened up about their experiences at the commission. also it’s like Covid quarantine, people got into relationships and it was great when in their bubble but outside that bubble when real life resumed, it couldn’t survive.
Side note, when Diego’s daughter corrected his spelling when he was trying to be discreet, was hilarious.
I haven’t watched the series because I have an addictive personality even with tv shows and movies and I will lock onto actors and actresses and be like “oh their amazing( I saw misfits and this happened with Robert) so I looked into every single thing he worked on and every interview he was in just to see his face and yea, eventually i realized it probably wasn’t a good idea to watch too much tv shows straight on. I do watch some just not in the fantasy genre which is my favorite 🤷🏻♀️now I catch up with shows I KNOW are in my favorite genre or I know I’ll like, by UA-cam clips and media coverage. You can oddly enough pick up on alot that way. And it keeps me from going down a rabbit hole at 2am.. okay I do that with the storyline but not the individual actors which is much better and safer. That’s why I asked how they got to the greeenhouse, I can’t find any clips of that, it’s just a montage and all of a sudden they are above ground and not in a subway,

Five then suggests they settle in one of the timelines, where they stumble upon a greenhouse with strawberries. That after all these years they deserve a rest, bed, shower and all. And Lila agrees, just for a short time. And hopes that doesn't mean they're giving up. They've been living together for seven months in relationship. In between, he finds the diary where the way back, but he doesn't tell Lila about it because he wants to be with her. He only admits it to her when she gives him a present "for their seventh anniversary" of them being lost in time.
