This video is really well done. I like the visual humor, and think it does a good job explaining the main idea. One thing I would recommend doing is using the chapters thing that youtube has, It is really useful for organizing the information outside of the video itself.
Just bought sets 1 and 2 last friday. and started watching Set 2. WOW excellent stuff on Set 2 however a number of disappointments, will post here for what I think of set 2, please do a review of Set 2.
Great video. Clearcut to this day has one of my favourite little dark gags that sort of encapsulates the do-nothing white liberal pacifism. The white lawyer talking about how glad he is they didn't get into a fight with the cops, cutting away to a distant shot of their truck driving through devastated and deforested land, as the elder remarks 'Yeah, those white guys might've done some real damage'. Amazing movie, infuriating too as you put it well. Movie hits so true to me as I'm living this shit right here and now in Canada, hardly a day goes by I don't see 'forestry feeds my family' bumper stickers, protest and criticism is as gaslit and silenced as ever 30 years on - but I think with there's a gift the movie gives too despite the lack of progress, that us of younger generations can look back to a movie like Clearcut and know we're not alone or crazy, that we're not the first to see things for what they are.
I limited the end to movies I've seen, and I havent gotten around to those yet, but I do have Witchfinder General. Hopefully I can check that out soon!
Crazy how subjective films like this are. I absolutely adored Eyes of Fire. Definitely my number 1 in the box set. The only one I didn't like was Tilbury. Volume 2 just arrived today, I'm about to dive in. PS - Ben Wheatley is indeed an excellent director. Highrise is a masterpiece, Kill List and Sightseers are also great films, as is A Field In England. I think everyone is a bit baffled by his decision to direct The Meg 2. It has absolutely *none* of his usual charm or style. Bizarre.
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks. Subscribed !

oh yeah, I actually meant to do that but completely forgot, thank you!
Have you seen the second volume yet? There’s some phenomenal ones in there. So far I’d say my favorites have been Born of Fire and Io Island
I'm gonna try to cover it when I have the money to spare for it. looks good!
@@LoganCarelliLookin forward to it!

Great video! This set is on sale for $117 on Amazon and your video convinced me to get it!
Nice! I hope you like it! (Or, most of it, at least)
Kill List is a solid flick from Ben Wheatley.
I definitely think it'd be fun to watch a couple of these movies

Thank you for all of your work and great criticism. Subscribed!
I can just say I wouldn't have gone home on my 19th birthday... 😂
Witch Finder General and Blood On Satan's Claw are a couple great ones not mentioned at the end.

Blood On Satan's Claw is a cool movie, but it's not in this box set. There's a few clips of it in the documentary, but that's all.
