Reminds me of when I encountered my first human enemy on the roads and I was way high levels just from grinding, I was so surprised I could steal this top level stuff I felt like I’d found a hidden mystery.
Thanks for the tip!
My characters felt really weak at level 99 alone.
level 95 save the queen, level 96 Excalibur, level 97 Ragnarock, level 98-99 chaos blade... though i am more interested in the samurai swords i want the Masamune and the Chirijiraden for the PSP.
you can also petrify the invisible characters to skip their turns entirely.
Rubber Suits can be stolen but I found it easier to poach Hydra enemies (brown with 3 heads) to get them. Best non-knight equipment in the game. So if you got time check out my poaching video. :)
@@user-battlescar1313 thanks , but i already know that, most of the special items, poles, sticks, dictionaries and even the combat purse can be obtained through poaching, the only weapons you can't get easily, aside the rare knight swords, are the masamune and chirijiraden samurai swords. So this is why you got to use the enemy ninjas to catch them as throw weapons; i mean, for me is more important to catch this rare samurai sword than the knight swords as they tend to brake if you "draw" so farming this sword is a must if you play the PSP version in which the dupe trick doesn't work. other thing is worth commenting , the best place to farm this catch-able weapons are on the second to last deep dungeon stage, the one you start in a small island like table, surrounded by enemies and the only place the enemy can get you us jumping some rocks, ninjas will only trow stuff at you here...
Nice strat! I just started playing this again so I'll have to try this out!
You should check the video I made for collecting every gun. It's just titled "Infinite Magic Guns". There is also something most knowing about poaching is that you can get Rubber Suits by greater hydras which is arguably the best armor in the game.
its a really old trick but to this day it still works especially in war of the lions version and im not even talking about version 1.3 mod wich you can get weapons you can only dream of O.o a good rule too if you can i dont know if it still works but you can break the ninjas blades and he still throws items at you but he hits you for weaker shots so you can mitigate damage better cheers :)
Yes I did find this extremely useful. I was afraid I wouldn't get my shot at multiple ultimate weapons cause they fixed the Outfitters trick where you can duplicate them. Now I know that in most versions you got access right here. I did do a lot of poaching too. There is exclusive items to poach such as Rubber Suits.
@@user-battlescar1313 ohhhh they finally fixed the outfitters?? wow but i guess you can wait around with the sticky hands trick to get what you want in the end you just need to wait longer hah! as ive witnessed alot of times before there is always a work around :)
Do you remember how to get the invisible items you have on Agrias and the other person?
ASAP Comment : Poaching. Pigs, Behemoths, flying eye, treant, minitours, dragons, hydra, all have really good items if you breed/poach.
Best Answer : Entice, Breed and Poach a Greater Behemoth for a chance to make Septileme. It is for female only but it has auto invisibility buff on it. Don't take action or get hit because you can lose the effect pretty quickly.
I did this trick at the beginning of chapter two!
I think you are still limited on weapons you can get in chapter 2. Each ninja has certain abilities learned like Throw Sword or Throw Spear. This video shows an unmissable section due to it being the final chapter.
This video was so long I had a birthday, graduated high school, I took a trip to Europe, and then came home and took a nap
Did they change the poaching rewards because the wiki pages are saying that the Greater Hydra is the only one with a poach reward for Septieme.. and those arent until Midnight Dungeon or what ever right??
Just cause you need Greater Hydra doesn't mean Tiamat and Hydra aren't just as good. It will take some traveling to breed them into Greater Hydras. Also Rubber Suits are probably the best equipment in the game. It can not be worn by Knights, Dragons, and something else but those jobs have their own set of great gear.
What are you playing this on. It looks cleaner than I remember.
Is there a specific chapter you have to be in for this battle to occur
Yes. The final chapter. Or if you can find any Ninja's with the throw command. I heard there is a Ninja in Chapter 2.
@@user-battlescar1313 So I've basically wasted the 20+hours I've been running through there during ch.3 well now I feel like a moron but thanks probably woulda wasted a lot more time
Fought a toad that could cast Magic
it works on a mobile version ??
Yeah this trick can be done in any version. Hardest part about it is getting your main 3-5 characters to level 99. By then you should be able to cast invisible on two of your characters and catch everything the Ninjas throw at you.
@user-battlescar1313 am already on level 99, so I have to hast my enemy and slow my players to make process faster..
thanks man
@@user-battlescar1313 is it like percentage 1 or 2% throws Chirijiraden weapon ???
@user-battlescar1313 Yes, it finally works... the secret is that you only have to put 3 players to work.
very good!
Requires lvl 95+ ninja, but sure, this is "Easy"
Hell yeah
this is not an easy way as you need to lvl up your character to lvl 99 to do this trick.
I completely agree. You only need to level up the 4-5 characters you are using. Others have done a similar trick in chapter 2 when you fight the dark knight. Also you can level up the ninjas in battle like I said. This is the easiest way and once you can do it you will be able to have as many Chaos Blades or Excaliburs as you want.
Yo conseguí el sable caos antes de enfrentarme a Belias Gigas y lo tengo en video
The rest of the game should have been a piece of cake then. You found a ninja on chapter 1? I know there is a ninja in chapter 2.
Level 96 for him to throw excaliburs and choas swords
Gee if it wasn't easy at that point 😂😂😂😂😂
lol true. At level 99 you shouldn't have a problem. Having access to these weapons on every version of tactics helps though. It makes your OP team more OP.
Yeah, "easy". All you have to do is grind all of your characters up to (personal) level 90+ first....yeah, right.
Some people do this at chapter 1
The earliest I seen it done is in chapter 2. All you need is a ninja at level 95 or above.
How do you get Gaf to a ninja that high without controlling him? Wouldn’t that take a million years? Are there even enough battles for it?
@@moxen001 there is a video called "How to get Ragnarok and Excalibur early" and the first step is getting Gaffgarion the right levels and know throw knight swords
Nice video!
Glad to see the FF Tactics community growing
I loved the original and I loved War of the Lions. I also like poaching to get those exclusive Rubber Suits.
