Imagine leaving your game out to dry for a "sequel" involving a PvE story mode, canceling it, and then a fucking mobile port of a MOBA delivering what YOU falsely promised.
And then Marvel comes in and says "fuck it, we're going to recreate the magic that you created 8 years ago that you squandered, and we're going to introduce niche characters to the wider fanbase at the same time! AND we're bringing Yuri Lowenthal back to voice Spidey".

Idk, probably feeling skeptical about marvel rivals, everyone is hyped but I feel like they're gonna be dissapointed after the bugs, server issues and transactions at launch and it can't be fixed with patches

On another note, I think the champ release order is great : Kalista for pre-ruination, Viego for the Ruination and Maokai for the restoration efforts he leads, it's good storytelling already.

I hate the new management with a passion. You don't just fire an entire lore staff. The amount of value you get from lore nerds and its ability to generate interest in the game is more than enough reason to keep them. I hate these brain dead suits who only think about short term money.

It doesn't have better models. The high-res model is just for the collection preview, the in-game models are worse than League's.

I still hope for a big ass update LoL 2.0 new permanent game modes, training mode, bot mode, pve mode. It’s been 15y. Feel like they made slow incremental update to LoL to keep us busy only 2.0. Just copium. But also make sense. Especially learning/training mode. There are so many things to do here both for new players and the pro scene.

I am SO mad because Wild Rift understands that, even though stuff like this doesnt give you money and there's not a lot of incentive monetarily, it means MORE PEOPLE PLAYING YOUR GAME, something League doesn't understand and that's why they no longer do events or reworks (Skarner took TWO YEARS)
yeah adding new modes will not give riot money, but currency and wild rift in-game item are more expensive than it's pc counter parts, riot milking it

The thing that gives Wild Rift such a good opportunity to mess around with new stuff is that the engine is much easier to mess around with. LoL PC’s code is a mess to deal with, the amount of effort just to get a rework of a single champion like Skarner is proof of how difficult it is to mess with the system. WR has a lot more freedom to do these things.

@@rod99ttett90 No they won't ban you... But again it's not a good experience to emulate it... The main reason is the movement control... Everything else is good with key bindings, but the movement isn't as smooth as if you play in mobile... I mean every mobile games that use analog as their movement isn't good to play in emulator imo

There’s hits and misses but it’s mostly good. Matchmaking can be interesting and we don’t always get the champion reworks or have very different versions of champs which is sad but it’s we do have absolutely great events. Constantly. That’s really fun
Been playing wild rift for years and while I love it the player base skill levels is far less than PC
It means that they are more care in Mobile than PC and for me honestly i like the Gameplay of Wildrift than PC not Overpowered Champs and more Balance. The Only Problem is the Solo Queue Matchmaking sometimes Dogsh*t 😅

League is a broken mess and Wild Rift is easier and probably not as expensive to maintain as league. So riot is just being greedy again and just sees the $$$ signs of the exploitable mobile playerbase. Riot is such a joke since Tencent bought them. Tencent is a parasitye that ruins gaming for profit its sad.
The budget's probably going to the CH servers/playerbase
The majority of the budget goes to Wild Rift because the mobile gaming market is bigger than you think.

@@reynd5078 you already bleached all of the crows, you would still find ML far beneath WR. ML is already a mess right now like a support that can solo a marksman is beyond disaster. They've even extended the ranks just to keep the players grinding only for stars.
been a WR player since day 1, sadly, lack the motors skills for lol in pc, but boy oh boy, what i love WR.

Ranked Skins are their own collection. The one Braum is from was started this season (12) with Xin Zhao. If it's similar to human Camavoran armors, I believe it to be a coincidence based on my own familiarity with the game which is mostly trying to stay low Platinum and not slip back in the Gold Hells.
Floating around in Platinum is rough.
Either we Get the "Good" Gold Players, or we get the Emerald Rejects.

@@Mordekaiser0305actually wild rift puts some bots early lvls and if you are new based on your performance from 1 to 5 games you can get iron to gold players in your games ,so yeah in low elo your matchmaking is purely based on your own skills

It's so crazy to me that they'll do all of this for Wild Rift but fuck league on PC man, the most it's gotten in years was Arena and while it's a good mode, I fail to see how this company is just completely incapable or nearly completely unwilling to actually give us more variety.
There's only so many fucking games of just Summoner's Rift and ARAM I can play before I just get sick and tired of it man.

It's extremely simple and people have said it over and over again. It is actual hell to do anything in League because of how old and shitty the code is, while Wild Rift is made in Unity and is easy to work with. As a Rioter mentioned when talking about Skarner's update, it took so long to update Skarner because a ton of the game relied on Skarner's code. Change or remove Skarner and the game literally breaks.
@@leetri I would accept this excuse if I haven't been hearing the same excuse for like 10 years now. At SOME point it just sounds like incompetence that there has been minimal to no attempt to actually WORK on the code to make it easier to work with. Yes I know it isn't easy to just MAGICALLY make the code better, but at a certain point something needs to be fuckin done. Iit genuinely pisses me off that the game has LESS content than it did 10 years ago, and somehow this is just fine and dandy for everyone.
@@Xero-Space They're literally doing that all the time, if you read my comment you'd know they had to rewrite massive parts of the game to remove Skarner's old kit. They had to rewrite large parts of the game to make Arena happen, they had to recode how abilities works when they made Sylas, etc.
Stuff like that happens all the time without us knowing because it's all boring backend stuff. But it's still a massive and ancient game, which means there's only so much you can do.
If they were to do a "lol 2" like some people bitch about, it would likely take 5+ years before we got a playable version, and during that time we wouldn't get any updates to regular League at all. And after all that time and money, the players wouldn't even notice a difference other than it might be a bit quicker to add new features in the future.

This is probably because they can't, or at least not so easily as in WR, this is because PC League is mande in a riot-made engine while WR is made with Unity, this make miles easier for Riot to develop more new things for mobile. Where on PC you need to teach the new employees the engine in and out, in mobile the learning curve is easier
So this confirms that PC LoL Is just an after thought for Riot now.
It would be awesome if league has individual pve storymode for each character. Examples would be the kalista one shown, but imagine playing as sivir, and its a dungeon crawler killing creeps in the catacombs, then the final boss is Cassiopeia after she becomes snake. Or what if miss fortune had you boarding a ship, and the final boss was gangplank. Cool ideas

This reminds me greatly back of my 2000s to 2010s Warcraft 3 Campaigns. Goddamn that Undead Campaign from Frozen Throne is awesome. I really hoped that Riot is also moving into that direction.

I've been playing wildrift since alpha and i can say this lore based game mode and mini games is a BIG thing for us global wildrift players. This was once just an exclusive privilege on Chinese server now we can have it too not just some boring ass event 😭🥰

People should really be playing wild rift. I know, for u western audience it’s hard to persuade u into playing a mobile game on your phone, but trust me, the game feels much better, much more fun and doesn’t take up an entire hour just to loose.

Introducing the lore of LOL in the mobile version is a solid choice. With how common smartphones are than pc and how relatively cheaper the decent one's are nowadays, it's bound to reach a much wider audience. Here's to hoping they don't fall short in this move and f*ck the story up too much. 🤞
