I know this is an old video. But I'm setting up a new to me CNC for my company soon. So trying to see what is the best way and most efficient use for fixturing everything. Basically I am starting somewhat new. Funny thing is Jacob with Truetrac is someone I have talked to about this back at the beginning of the year. I was going to visit him but never could make it work. His facility is relatively close to mine. So I need to revisit talking to him and see if I can make that happen. I'd love to see the pallet system in person. But I'm already pretty well sold on these. I think for us it will be a big win bringing machining in house for our products.

Fixtures are life lol, this is cool with the 90 rotation for the smaller parts, do you only share fixture fridays if they use the Pierson System, or can I send you pics of my custom fixture system I made for my products? Im probably going to go with your system in the near future when I get my Brother Speedio and innovate my entire fixture system again to meet the capability of that machine as its far greater than my 770m.

So glad you're doing Fixture Fridays again. I can't get enough of these. Any chance to learn things that increase throughput is a great thing! Thanks.

what kind of aluminum is it, I have aluminum at my company but the threads are damaged

You should install steel screw thread inserts like Helicoils. In my opinion, Aluminum threads are only good for 5-10 cycles.

Love your channel. But the intro music is kind of annoying. Especially if I'm trying to binge watch lol.

Hey Jay! Are there changes to placement of the pitbull clamp placement or how hard they are torqued because this is a plastic application? I'm starting the learning and research stage of getting into pallets and knowing what types of clamps to use in certain situations/materials is a tricky subject.

That's a really great question and the amount of torque is one of those things that enters into the realm of feel/experience. There are also pitbull clamps with knife edges that will hold a part down securely but with less torque required. This would be best for plastic. Make sure you check out the last Fixture Friday in case you missed it: ua-cam.com/video/4oFe7XyzrL0/v-deo.html

Switched from the ultrawide to double monitors? I always preferred double myself.
