The title implies that some special shots do something different than others, no matter how slight, or that you need to do something different to block different special shots. Is there something I'm missing here or that i don't know, or did you just do the same exact thing with each of the characters? As far as I'm aware, they're all the same and require the exact same technique to block no matter whose special shot you're blocking.
It all depends where on the field you shoot the Zone Shot (the star shot where you jump up). If you put it far from them, whether it's a human or a CPU, if they don't slow down time, you'll win the point.
But always use your own FIRST because when they block it with their special shot, they’ll be knocked back a big distance and follow up the block with a drop shot for an easy point
This is litterally the same thing 15 times...
If you block the shot right back to them, won’t most people return the blocked shot?
True facts
Very informative, thanks

So, what happens when your racket breaks by not blocking? Do you lose a point, the game, the set, or the whole match?
You start with 2 rackets. If both break, then you lose the whole match.

What about those star shots where you jump up? The CPU’s seem like they can do it without slowing down time...
it's literally the exact same thing but the special shot is stronger.
