      Congrats on the baby coming. When your child is finally born and he or she wants to go to the park or just plain wants you to play …….. DO IT every time my friend !!!! Life is short and believe me when I tell you I’m a father of 4 ( ages 4,9,20,& 22) it’s very easy to say I’m to tired we’ll go tomorrow and In the snap of a finger baby is headed to college and it’s to late. Take them to the park every time they ask I promise you will regret it if you don’t. My older 2 were robbed of these moments as many children are and you’ll never get that time back. Cherish every minute, every stupid thing they do, and most of all love them with everything you’ve got and you’ll be the greatest dad on the planet !!!!! Congrats again my friend

    I noticed the raptor/f150 fuel pump adaptor piece you had was a tupe of snap-on piece, if you dont mind me asking, where do you get that part, who makes it or even a part number would be great, since it looks very specific for that plastic fuel pump top plate! Thanks and keep up the great work, btw your parts are expensive but I can tell they are quality! I am a machinist and I personally know what machined parts can go for, hopefully my comment gets featured on the next episode!😁

    Your builds are so sick!! I’m a garbage rookie home fabricator with a jokey way question. Is there a structural component to the key ways or is it more for alignment and fit? Is it with the time for a home builder to incorporate key ways with no cnc ability? Thank you!!

    Question on the Pros and Cons differences for building the A-arms out of plate instead of doing them in machined billet? Is it weight, $$$, strength? Just curious.

    • @ZhengDaLim
      @ZhengDaLim 2 роки тому +5

      I've also wondered why no one has yet to design and build lower center mount arms full billet. Not even any of the TT teams or builders make them. We've got full billet trailing arms, links, upper arms, portal hubs, spindles/uprights, transmissions, 3rd members, steering, brakes, sway bar arms, etc. but yet lower arms are still made of plate chromoly. I wonder why?

    • @Kibbetech
      @Kibbetech  2 роки тому +8

      I answer this often, imagine how much bigger the pivot points have to be if they were aluminum... just like with the trailing arms the "uniball cup" wall thickness is 2-3x as thick as the steel version. Then if those pivots were larger in size then the chassis and spindle pivots would have to grow in size to house the billet

    What makes those fuel cells street legal vs non street legal?

    • @zachthompson5335
      @zachthompson5335 2 роки тому +1

      DOT approval would make them street legal, I don’t believe Pyrotech offers a tank with DOT approval. With that said, Id rather have a Pyrotech on my daily over the cheap on from the factory.

    • @billysales1625
      @billysales1625 2 роки тому

      That was my confusion. I was unaware of a dot fuel cell but this is the second time I’ve heard street legal fuel cell on UA-cam. That pyrotech looks very well built.

    • @Kibbetech
      @Kibbetech  2 роки тому +3

      @@billysales1625 making these things "street legal" is not up to me. I always use fuel cells like this for safety purposes. About 18 years ago i built a baffled can fuel tank for someone who wanted to be cheap... well he rolled hard and the tank ripped open and dumped 25 gallons of fuel in 5 seconds. Luckily nothing caught fire. He actually brought that tank back and paid me to weld it back together... sometimes being cheap isn't worth it!

    • @traviscassidy4717
      @traviscassidy4717 2 роки тому

      It’s usually a bullshit californa rule. They have to have the stock equipment in the stock location. Even if they move the factory tank another location (like on my truck, it’s moved to accommodate the 4 link.) the ref has to look at it if it’s an additional tank or extended capacity tank. I’m not sure there’s a real EPA reason for that other than californa wants to control everything we do and tries to eliminate ate car modification in any capacity wherever possible. A legitimate reason may be the evap canister and whatever else fuel cells don’t have that factory gas tanks do.

      On a serious note, my dream build is a Silverado extended cab set up like a daily driven stadium super truck. Big power to weight, low and wide with big travel. Something capable of doing RC car things on public roads, pro 2/SST hybrid that would also be comfortable at glamis/dumont/pismo/loading docks/offroad parks.
