😁 This is a bit of a "how to setup" and "how to use time blocking in notion." This isn't the only option for time blocking but may be useful for those wanting a setup with template buttons. Let me know when you guys use time blocking for your day or week. Do you use it daily or only when you're particularly busy?
Your free videos and templates help me continually customize my Notion to be a perfect fit for me! I have playing around with time blocking for a bit, I find it helps me focus my ADD by adding structure to my day. I have been using it daily while I try to build healthy habits and new routines during a time where I am trying to really get my shit together! I was struggling to find the perfect template, and this works perfectly to add to my daily logs! I appreciate it so much. Best ways to support you???
This is AMAZING!! I have tried time blocking in so many different ways in Notion, and never could find a system easy to use. I need to be able to move around the tasks quickly as my day changes, and your layout does that!! Can't wait to try it out :-) Thank you for the time and download!
i absolutely love your demonstrations, almost all my notion templates are based upon your demos ... it works so very much for me.. thank you for making NOTION simpler for me :)
you are singlehandedly changing my life, my notion was incredibly simple and i accidentally downloaded your huge list of templates and it has made everything so much better and easier. thankyouthankyouthankyou
thank you so much for this!! i've tried calendar apps a couple of times, but they just don't work for me. This is going to be very useful! For time blocking, I usually only plan 2-3 days in advance, bc my schedule changes a lot. But i do have routines that i do every day, so it is good to plan it out to make life easier lol. thank u again for your content, i always learn a lot with your videos!
Wow waiting for someone to make idea like this for so long.... I made similar 2 months ago using callout blocks ..... But thank you so much for that todo block idea It changed complete time blocking template into very very useful.... I’ll implement this method immediately now.... Thank you so much 🥰😇
THANK YOU!! This is just amazing, I've tried making something similar in the past but failed, I love how yours is very specific, detailed, and helpful!!
Love this! This was very helpful. I do use time blocking in Notion but it's very basic. This definitely gave me some new ideas though. Especially love the colour blocking - so simple yet so effective. Thank you!
Wow I love this! omg such awesome content for free whilst everyone has costly gum road pages, thank-you soo much for adding such value into my Notion Dashboard :)
This is the closest to what I was looking, no database, simple and colour coordinated but unfortunately does not demonstrate exactly on phone but thank you for sharing
Hi there, I just quickly wanted to thank you for your videos. You explain stuff in a way that's so easy to understand and I love that you are showing how stuff works at the same time. Being a beginner with Notion I can easily see that way if that's what I am looking :) keep doing this :)
awesome for my next 30 days . struggling with complicated task magment templetes and waste 4 days to build them and found they are not me as of now . i need a 30 days templete with a loty of tasks a day in front of my eyes and should be similar to gcal . and this suits perfect for my use . thank you !! i saw this 1 year before but kind of cusrious to learn more and waste my time !!
I loved this video and this is ALMOST what i've been looking for... i wanted to use this solution as a historic view of my week and what i've done in the specific dates. I'm struggling to make a solution where visually i can have what you've done but also to keep track of the past days/activities. Any tip/advice?
Super cool, thanks Red! I have a couple questions. 1) What would you recommend for saving a history of your time blocking rather than deleting it? 2) Have you done a setup where you can modify your time blocking throughout the day while retaining the original plan? (A la Cal Newport's version of time blocking.)
I know this was probably a while ago, but if you are still looking for ideas I try to put my 'table' into a toggle folder labeled for the week and month it is a part of (i end up dropping all of this into a template button) so when each week starts I push the button and it pops out a new toggle dropdown with my 'table' underneath. when i'm done with the week I move the entire folder into a page labeled 'archives' and it seems to keep me very organized. I like to see my progress so this organization helps.
hello, it seems to me the most functional of the ways to use time blocking in notion. I will use it as a weekly planner. I ask you three details:1 - how can I integrate the blocks with the tasks I have to perform? I explain myself with an example: I have a block of 4 hours that I call "work on the PC" and in those 4 hours I want to insert a 1 hour task from the "project 01", a task of 2 and a half hours of the "project 02". how should I structure the project tabs so that I can "automatically" insert those tasks into the time blocks? I hope the question is understandable otherwise I try to explain better.2 - can I integrate with google calendar? I would prefer to use only one app but for android I do not know if it is possible with notion to see the schedule with a widget ... if it is possible it is even better.3 - can alerts be inserted? I use, in fact, google calendar just for that, because otherwise if I'm very focused I forget maybe the appointments...Thank you very much.
Hey, that was awesome! Thanks for sharing. but I've got a question to ask. in the video, in 4:52, the block consisting of 3-time blocks is considered an hour, here 5:30am to 6:30am. but I suppose it is one and a half hours! because every time block is 30 minutes. if we consider 3-time blocks an hour, where would 6:30am to 7am go? because the next block will start from 7am.
Has anyone figured out how to create a sliding bar so that you can add more than 3 columns? I love this idea but I want to have the entire week on the same page.
I need something like this but I need those blocks come from a database becasue I need to calculate hours . Imagine I have 40 hour to complete a task , so I divide this task into days filling them as posible , but I also need to allow a supervisor to see my available time each day, my workload each day weekly or monthly … I’m getting crazy thinking how to implement a view that allow all this possibilities
Help! everrytime I click "New Time" it just stucks at 12.30am how can I make it so that whenever I click the 'New Time', the time will automatically create in ascending order? i.e 12.30am,1am, 1.30am etc?
My timeblocking style is not by hourly or 30minly...but by theme..6am - 9am (Morning Routine) , 9am - 12.30pm (Work1) , 12.30 - 2pm (Lunch), 2pm - 5pm (Work 2), 5pm - 10pm (Dinner and Family Time), 10pm - 12am (wind down)....I dont want to rigid the task in certain time..So how actually I can configure it in the Notion?
Hi I am really enjoying your video and I need your help a want to make a database of learn Spanish language but I don't know how to start and thenks for your help and great constant
Thanks for this video. But using this method you can't track any previous day. The blocks aren't really related to any date... Do you have any idea how to have a deal with it? I would like to be able to choose a date to plan next month and then go back to the previous month to see how productive i was...
Does anyone know how to delete (not hide) a done task? if I check that task, it is deleted automatically. I'm starting with this: "if(prop("DONE?") == true, "
I haven’t figured this out yet, either. I just hide done tasks with a filter, and at the end of the day, when I review all done tasks, and bask in the glory of my productivity (haha), I manually delete those tasks... I hope someone will answer with a better idea!
My only suggestion is clicking on the block and pressing delete key instead of using a checkbox. Takes slightly longer yes but it does what you want it do 😂. Sends it straight to the trash built in notion as theirs already functions like an archive. Only downside however is you have to manually delete them individually from there if you want them permanently removed from your workspace and not taking up storage.
You gave me once more a lot of inspiration, and you are always so generous sharing all your templates!

It is daily usually

Sharing this is so generous, and truly appreciated. The button "Add new time block" does not work for me. any ideas?

I guess you can just duplicate the 7 am
Great, great video. I want that background music too.
Never mind. I got it
Has anyone figured out how to create a sliding bar so that you can add more than 3 columns? I love this idea but I want to have the entire week on the same page.
If you go to the three dots at the top right corner and click it to full width it should do the trick, hope this helps 😁
just wanna say thanks!!! :) :)
Thank you for everything! I have a question can you change the color of the blocks as you do with the texts ??
how can I add the consecutive time interval easily? in table day or to do list. Nice videos!, 😀
Amazing good job em

It seems your video skipped some small steps to make the Add New Block Button works, could anybody know how to do this teach me on this?
Interesting way of doing it. But what are the advantages of doing this instead of just linking to Google Calendar?
Linking to Google Calendar is a great option as well. This is just an example inside Notion exclusively.
@@RedGregory It would be great if you could embed Google Calendar inside a Notion page! 🤞🏻
What do you mean by “linking” to Google Calendar? Is there a way of doing that or do you mean just embedding google calendar into Notion?
@@solilos Just creating a hyperlink from Notion to the URL of your Google Calendar page.
Please make a content about how tu use formula 😭🙏
Hi I am really enjoying your video and I need your help a want to make a database of learn Spanish language but I don't know how to start and thenks for your help and great constant
