    😁 This is a bit of a "how to setup" and "how to use time blocking in notion." This isn't the only option for time blocking but may be useful for those wanting a setup with template buttons. Let me know when you guys use time blocking for your day or week. Do you use it daily or only when you're particularly busy?

    • @SayatOskenov

      It is daily usually

      Your free videos and templates help me continually customize my Notion to be a perfect fit for me! I have playing around with time blocking for a bit, I find it helps me focus my ADD by adding structure to my day. I have been using it daily while I try to build healthy habits and new routines during a time where I am trying to really get my shit together! I was struggling to find the perfect template, and this works perfectly to add to my daily logs! I appreciate it so much. Best ways to support you???

    This is AMAZING!! I have tried time blocking in so many different ways in Notion, and never could find a system easy to use. I need to be able to move around the tasks quickly as my day changes, and your layout does that!! Can't wait to try it out :-) Thank you for the time and download!

    thank you so much for this!! i've tried calendar apps a couple of times, but they just don't work for me. This is going to be very useful! For time blocking, I usually only plan 2-3 days in advance, bc my schedule changes a lot. But i do have routines that i do every day, so it is good to plan it out to make life easier lol. thank u again for your content, i always learn a lot with your videos!

    Super cool, thanks Red! I have a couple questions. 1) What would you recommend for saving a history of your time blocking rather than deleting it? 2) Have you done a setup where you can modify your time blocking throughout the day while retaining the original plan? (A la Cal Newport's version of time blocking.)

      I know this was probably a while ago, but if you are still looking for ideas I try to put my 'table' into a toggle folder labeled for the week and month it is a part of (i end up dropping all of this into a template button) so when each week starts I push the button and it pops out a new toggle dropdown with my 'table' underneath. when i'm done with the week I move the entire folder into a page labeled 'archives' and it seems to keep me very organized. I like to see my progress so this organization helps.

    hello, it seems to me the most functional of the ways to use time blocking in notion. I will use it as a weekly planner. I ask you three details:1 - how can I integrate the blocks with the tasks I have to perform? I explain myself with an example: I have a block of 4 hours that I call "work on the PC" and in those 4 hours I want to insert a 1 hour task from the "project 01", a task of 2 and a half hours of the "project 02". how should I structure the project tabs so that I can "automatically" insert those tasks into the time blocks? I hope the question is understandable otherwise I try to explain better.2 - can I integrate with google calendar? I would prefer to use only one app but for android I do not know if it is possible with notion to see the schedule with a widget ... if it is possible it is even better.3 - can alerts be inserted? I use, in fact, google calendar just for that, because otherwise if I'm very focused I forget maybe the appointments...Thank you very much.

    Hey, that was awesome! Thanks for sharing. but I've got a question to ask. in the video, in 4:52, the block consisting of 3-time blocks is considered an hour, here 5:30am to 6:30am. but I suppose it is one and a half hours! because every time block is 30 minutes. if we consider 3-time blocks an hour, where would 6:30am to 7am go? because the next block will start from 7am.

    • @AnneloesF

      I haven’t figured this out yet, either. I just hide done tasks with a filter, and at the end of the day, when I review all done tasks, and bask in the glory of my productivity (haha), I manually delete those tasks... I hope someone will answer with a better idea!

    • @deez9805
      @deez9805 3 роки тому

      My only suggestion is clicking on the block and pressing delete key instead of using a checkbox. Takes slightly longer yes but it does what you want it do 😂. Sends it straight to the trash built in notion as theirs already functions like an archive. Only downside however is you have to manually delete them individually from there if you want them permanently removed from your workspace and not taking up storage.
