This is very helpful video which explains entire process of deploying an application to aws. I was looking for such video which can give a overview how deployment works.👏👏👌
Helen, Thanks a lot for this.Great effort.. Since time was restricted for the video presentation..,I would like to suggest a point to reduce was on explaining tiers in very detail..at this we are expected to know basics for watching the video..at least those first 5 minutes on slides, and it would have been useful for adding ALB and Adding auto scaling group... It would have completed the HA and DR as resilient and scalable completely. Can you please consider those points..We don't see the notepad file that you mentioned for downloading the commands.. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for your feedback 💖 I think you can skip the explanation part if you already know it, this is because most people watching are newbies and need that detailed explanation. ALB and scaling was beyond the video scope. Thank you
I'm maybe wrong but this looks like a 2 tier web application since there is nothing deployed in the public subnets(web tier). I don't think that the internet-facing load balancer needs public subnets to be deployed. What do you think?
Helen your voice is so beautiful I love your voice, btw can you please make full video on 3 tier architecture with static website hosting or any web application auto scaling
@@techwithhelen Yes, exactly how you did the security groups on the tutorial. I didnt miss any step. checked my NACL and everything else is in the right place. Still, no luck.
Things to check 👇 Security which you already did. Route table - ensure there is Internet gateway to it as a route and that it is active Ensure your keypair is in the part where you are running the command and that you use correct username and IP If these didn't work, Try another ssh client eg if you use putty, try Git bash
@@techwithhelen update: I used a different EC2 AMI (Amazon Linux 2023) today and I could ssh into my instance. I wonder because it was a hassle trying to ssh into my instance using Amazon Linux 2.

Hi, I have a question. Where can I find the terminal? I can only find the powershell and window command processor on my computer? Thank you ❤
You need to install it to your computer
I was following well till i got to the terminal part.
I tried to use CloudShell but is not working. Please kindly help. Thanks
I'm sorry for late response. May I know if the issue has been resolved now?
Im getting an error like Amazon-linux-extras command not found. Could you plz suggest what should i do now
Has this been resolved? You can use Amazon Linux 2 instead of using Amazon Linux 2023.
great video can you make a video Automating this process? like deploying this architecture using Terraform
I will have this in mind. Thank you for watching ❤
Very nice. is it possible to use the default vpc?
No, not in this context
Hi, awesome tutorial but i cant ssh into my instance. 'connection time out'.
Which ssh client are you using? Is port 22 open in your security group?
@@techwithhelen Yes, exactly how you did the security groups on the tutorial. I didnt miss any step. checked my NACL and everything else is in the right place. Still, no luck.
